PRIVATE FISHING 1-6 PASSENGER

South Padre Island Bay Fishing! Join us on the beautiful Laguna Madre for a private fishing charter for 1 to 6 passengers aboard our 22 ft Majek or 24ft Carolina. This fishing experience is suitable for beginners, kids, and experts.

Depending on the season catches include sand trout, whiting, drum, shark, sheepshead, and other varieties of fish. Fish cleaning is available for an additional fee. $1 small fish ( Such as trout ) $5 big fish ( such as redfish )

Shark Fishing is available upon request. We must know 2 days prior to the trip because special bait must be purchased.

What To Expect

This 4 -5 hour fishing adventure includes all your bait and tackle. The captain will help detach all fish and set your bait. Your local captain is knowledgeable about fishing spots and the variety of wildlife. We provide an ice chest for the fish caught. Customers are welcome to bring their own cooler with food and drinks (alcohol or non) just no glass. At your departure location is a restaurant that provides food and drinks to go. Our boats are fully equipped for a fishing adventure and are family-friendly......even the kids will love it! Boat types used 22ft Majek or 24ft Carolina. We do not guarantee a certain boat requested.

Had a blast with Captain Chapo. Started off the morning 6/21 on black drum He put us right on the fish and we limited out quick. Then changed to trout almost limited out in a couple hours but birds were killing the bait before they could dive so came up just short on our limit. We caught multiple other species (sheepshead, flounder, and red drum) they were just not big enough to keep. We were constantly catching fish or changing places to fish. Definitely going to come back. Maybe try a guided shark fishing trip with Chapo next time.

We had the best Captain and Fishing Experience. Our Guide and Activities Coordinator Chapo is the best!!!! We had great instructions before , and during our visit to South Padre Island and SPI Excursions. We were pulling in our fish before you knew it, all while dodging the rain drops. You won’t be disappointed!!

We were referred by Jessica our Airbnb host and it did not disappoint. Chappo was nice and friendly and made the trip a blast. It was the highlight of our trip.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with South Padre Island Excursions! We went out fishing with Chapo, and within just a couple of hours we had already limited out — it doesn’t get much better than that. From start to finish, everything was handled with total professionalism, and you can tell they truly know what they’re doing. Every trip we’ve taken with them has been nothing short of amazing — they always seem to find the fish and make the whole experience fun and effortless. If you’re in town, this is an absolute must-do. 10/10, we’ll definitely be back again!

Our Captain Brady was awesome. He was so helpful, very pleasant, very informative and patient with us non-fishers. We would definitely book again if we go fishing. He was the best!
