Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

You need to be able to swim comfortably to participate in the snorkeling part of the tour
You need to be able to get in and out of the water independently
Please keep in mind that snorkeling takes place in the ocean, where currents and waves can be present. Bonaire’s shoreline is beautiful and protected by stunning coral reefs, but entry and exit can sometimes be rocky and more challenging. Participants should be physically fit and able to independently enter and exit the water comfortably.
What To Expect
Join a certified local guide and discover the incredible underwater world of Bonaire on this private snorkeling experience. After pickup from your hotel, resort, Airbnb or cruise port, you'll travel to one of Bonaire's beautiful shore snorkeling locations. Once equipped with professional snorkeling gear, your guide will accompany you in the water and help you spot colorful tropical fish, vibrant coral reefs and other marine life. During the tour, professional underwater photos will be taken so you can focus on enjoying the experience while we capture your Bonaire memories. After snorkeling, you'll be comfortably transferred back to your accommodation or cruise ship. Includes: - Pick-up/drop-off service anywhere on the island - Professional Underwater Photos - Snorkel gear provided - Professional guidance - Special attention for those who may be nervous about snorkeling Combine this tour with an island tour for the best experience. Please note: snorkeling is at your own risk, and participants must be able to swim. If you have your own vehicle, we can take more people snorkeling. Flexible start times are available, just ask! 4.00Mostly a good experience. The issue was my wife was a snorkel beginner, the rest of us already had snorkeling experience. My wife struggled trying to get out past the many coral holes in the shore break to reach the deeper water. Sas our guide said if my wife couldn’t go with us, she’d have to stay on the beach or car, or we’d potentially have to cancel the trip! My wife took one for the team and ended up saying she didn’t want to go and would sit at the car, just to be sure the rest of us were able to snorkel. After that, Sas did a great job taking us snorkeling, and took really nice pictures of us and the marine life. In all other ways she was a perfect guide. It wasn’t until we got back to the ship that I found out my wife took one for the team so that our entire trip wouldn’t be cancelled. Now that I look back at it I wish I’d known about this issue. I would have asked Sas to spend 5 or 10 minutes getting my wife out past the holes in the shore break and spend a few minutes helping her get accustomed to snorkeling. We would have waited for her to help my wife get used to snorkeling. And as a group we would have been happy to have taken it at my wife’s pace. So overall a good experience, but not an excellent experience. I’d suggest to anyone doing this that if you have beginners be careful. Be real sure you have that conversation as soon as you meet the guide - and explain to them you’re comfortable waiting while your beginner is introduced to snorkeling and you all are comfortable taking it at their pace. We ended up paying for my wife’s trip, even though she spent the entire time sitting on the bumper of Sas’ car! The lesson from this is if you have a mixed group of beginners and more experienced snorkelers be cautious, this may not be the best trip for mixed-experience groups. And for anyone who’s an experienced snorkeler you’ll have a great time with the VIP Private Snorkeling Tour.

5.00With Kirsten we went out from our resort where we were picked up for our snorkel tour. We have been coming to Bonaire for 15 years and have our regular places to snorkel. So with the question surprise us. And she has. Super relaxed with the current over a new (now favorite place) full of fish, turtles and even sea snakes. Real wow.

5.00Since this was my first time in Bonaire I decided to do a mix of group and private tours to compare experiences. I found this company through Facebook and Google and booked directly with them on their site. Kirsten was professional and friendly and answered all my questions via WhatsApp. I was super excited for this tour long before I arrived in Bonaire and the experience did not disappoint! Pickup from my hotel was on time and I had the choice of where to go to snorkel. Following Kirsten's advice and information about visibility at various sites around the island we snorkeled and Andrea I and II and WOW - the fish and coral were amazing! It was great not having to worry about bumping into other snorkelers like you would on a group trip. We spent more than an hour in the water in both the shallow and deeper areas of the two sites and Kirsten stopped to take photos and provide info about what I was seeing every few minutes. I also got the photos she took the same day. I learned so much about the reef system in Bonaire and got some very important equipment advice that saved me from "mask disaster" for the rest of my trip. When (not if) I return to Bonaire I'll definitely snorkel with Private Guided Tours Bonaire again!

5.00Let the currents guide your Heart… What a wonderful experience! From the moment Kirsten picked us up we were sucked into the wonderful vibe of Bonaire and the enthusiasm and cosiness of Kirsten. Once in the water it got even better! She guided us in a very relaxed way to show the beautiful marine life. So much that you otherwise quickly overlook yourself. We made a big tour, but time flew by! Everything is really better underwater. And then the pictures: such a beautiful lasting memory. It was our first time doing a private tour, but this tour is something you just have to allow yourself. This was really a gift.Thank you Kirsten, we enjoyed it!
