What To Expect
City Palace
You will be picked up in the morning at , Udaipur Junction Railway Station, bus station, or your centrally located hotel in Udaipur by your friendly English-speaking driver and leave for Udaipur City Palace. Udaipur City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Maharana Udai Singh stated building this palace in 1559 and it was completed in 18th century by his successors. Later stop by Shree Jagdish Temple, a world renowned temple of Lord Vishnu. This three stories and 79 feet high temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singhji in 1651 and costed 1.5 million rupees. It is owned and managed by the royal family of Udaipur. In the complex the main Next stop is Dudh Talai located on the banks of Lake Pichola near the City Palace. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Lake Pichola, Jagmandir Island Palace, Lake Palace, Udaivilas, The Leela Palace, gorgeous Aravalli ranges and Udiapur old city. You can either walk around the lake to see various species of birds, relax in the lush green garden, or enjoy the musical fountains in the park. Also stop by Saheliyon Ki Bari, Moti Magari and Sukhadiya Circle. When the tour concludes, you will be dropped off at Your Hotel Where You Booked

5.00This full day tour is excellent and is very well worth the time of a first time visitor to Udaipur. The City Palace is World Class in terms of its history, preservation, signage, and things to see. Our Guide, Firoz, was knowledgeable, spoke English fluently, and took great pictures of us at the key spots. The 45 minute Lake Pichola boat cruise was great, as it was a warm/mild sunny day. We had an excellent but simple lunch at the Jhumar Restaurant with a nice view of the lake. We took a cable car ride up the hill to visit a nice (Hindu) temple. We ended the day at a one hour cultural performance, which was very impressive. All in all, it was a great day of seeing and learning about a lot of interesting things!

5.00Guide Furoz experienced and helpful. A series of interesting sights across the city including a welcome break at a Starbucks near the fountain garden. The car and driver were also very good. I am impressed with how he managed the traffic.

5.00We have never been here so we thought we should get a guide and a driver - reasonably priced - I forgot to tick guide when booking but this was quickly resolved once I realised day before . Our guide was professional but also kind and had a great sense of humour - quickly gauged what we wanted to see and hear about - must mention the driver silent but punctual always and always opened the car door …… nice - Don’t hesitate in booking !

5.00We had a wonderful tour guide by the name of Soni and driver Priyanshu. Soni was so friendly and knowledgeable. He also took some amazing pictures for us. He took his time and educated us on the beautiful history of Udaipur. We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this tour.
