An awesome guide for an awesome first visit to Egypt

5.00As someone that has a passion for travel, but had been awaiting the opportunity to visit Egypt since I was little, this excursion experience certainly helped make this first visit a memorable one. The fees, including the admission fee, were as advertised and are reasonable. Ahmed is an awesome guide with an excellent command of English, a wealth of knowledge of Egyptology stemming from his passion for the subject and signified by his rigourous certification, and a great conversationalist. He helped me feel very welcome during my morning trek to the pyramids and the Hor-em-akhet (Sphinx). He took great photos and gave me the freedom of time to ride two camels during our time there. Altogether, it was about four hours, as advertised, and he and Mohamed kindly went out of their way to collect me and drop me at my hotel in Heliopolis (albeit for a extra nominal fee), close to the airport. There were a fair number of tourists, but that’s par for the course and it was not impeding to my enjoyment of the sites. Ahmed went above and beyond by listening to my interests and suggesting additional stops or even additional tours according to my interests. For instance, I am a medieval studies scholar that works with ancient manuscripts, so he suggested a great papyrus gallery, where I was given a demonstration of authentic papyrus production towards the end of our time together. I had a wonderful morning and I strongly recommend Ahmed as a guide as well as this excursion. I’d be thrilled to ask him to be my guide again when I next visit Egypt. Shkran lak! 🇪🇬

5.00Our Family trip was incredible and we have memories that will last us a life time. 5 days and 4 nights our Guide Akmed and his team were incredible and worth the money. He is able to speak 7 languges if i remember correctly and is knowledgeable in the area and helps you feel safe and navigates the city wonderfully. From helping us get tickets to the Cairo Museum to, the dinner cruise on the nile, the camel rides and flights to and from luxor then to finish with the pyramid show before we left was such a perfect trip. I cant express how much time and hassel he saved us from being scammed. Really if you are booking a trip contact him. On our next trip i look forward to him helping us out again.

My wife who is a student of ancient history is impressed by his detailed explanation. It was a fruitful trip indeed.

5.00Ahmed is hands down the best guide we could have asked for. He has such a great vibe, super chill, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. He really looked out for us like a brother. He also saved the day for us by knowing exactly where to go for the perfect pictures without the crowds. My girlfriend got the most incredible shots for her Instagram thanks to him. We left Egypt feeling like we made a real friend. Can't wait to see you again soon, my brother!

5.00I can't think of a single part of this tour that could be improved upon. Abul is incredibly passionate and knowledge about his history and will take you to the best sites accompanied with a fascinating lecture. His English is absolutely perfect to the point that an American tourist was accusing him of not being a real Egyptian whilst on on a tour with one of Abul's former students🤣

5.00Abul gave me and my family the most fantastic tour. He was thoroughly engaging, professional, yet friendly with a great sense of humour and most of all deep knowledge of the ancient culture. I could not recommend this tour enough! I had other tours whilst in Egypt, in Aswan and Luxor and nothing compared to the tour we had with Abul. It was a shame that we had his tour first because when on our other tours they could not compare and it would have been nice to save the best until last.
