What To Expect
This is the standard itinerary for the tour. Start At: Arima Onsen Station of Arima Rokko Ropeway We will walk about 5 minutes from Arima Onsen Station to the trailhead. Pass By: Mushi-jigoku (The trailhead) The historic sites related to the carbonated spring sources of Arima Onsen provide fascinating insights. Trail Along: Totoya Road The mountain trail that served as the main road for travel between Kobe and Arima. Stop At: The site of the old tea house The site where the mountain pass teahouse once stood is now a gazebo. We will take a break for about 10 minutes here. Trail Along: Fudeya Road We will walk along the Fudeya Trail that passes through the Healing Forest. In the Healing Forest, you can see a variety of plants, and it is also home to many different species of birds. Stop At: Viewpoint Deck From the viewpoint deck, you can gaze upon the town and the mountain ranges of the Tamba region. Stop At: Taiko Waterfall It’s a beautiful waterfall cascading between rocky cliffs. Endpoint: Zuihouji Park A park featuring a quaint mountain gate and rest areas, renowned as one of the top spots for autumn foliage in the Kansai region. The tour ends here.

5.00Our guide was amazing. Her english was very easy to understand and she answered every single one of our questions with great detail. She Answered all of our history questions and questions that we had about a balance , japan and the culture making it much more friendly to go on the hike. She offered frequent stops.If we needed so that we were not over exerted. We love history and culture and she was able to give us a fantastic experience telling us all the new things about japan. This is our dream vacation and she made it a yet perfect way to start it off.So that we would not offend anyone.And also , be able to have the most fun during the vacation. She Made sure to take pictures of us so we wouldn't forget the memories.She was very friendly. She even brought us a snack, so we could try some food from Japan on our hike and she brought us Macha tea which tasted amazing and it was nice and warm on the cool hike. It was so nice to just have it.Just the two of us so that she could pay close attention to what we were wanting and needing on the hike.But also give a so much information to make it enjoyable and fun. She was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. She gave us recommendations on food. Which ended up being very good , very delicious.
