The Hill of Crosses is a unique site that consists of more than 250 000 crosses from all over the world! Either you're religious or not - you're welcome to visit it and also leave a cross behind. This tour is unique with the fact that you'll have to leave Riga only about 3 hours before the sunset. In summer months it means evening! This gives you a great chance to enjoy the most of the daylight hours in Riga and head off to Lithuania once most things are done and closed! Fit in as much as possible in your trip itinerary. And of course - tick off another country!

Visit Hill of Crosses in Lithuania! Enjoy a guided tour of the site and a free time afterwards. We'll tell you the history about the place, combined with interesting stories and legends. And of course - you're free to take photos at the site. We're pretty sure you'll have a lot of them! Every visitor has a chance to leave a cross at the hill. You can bring the cross from your home country, make it yourself or purchase one of the local souvenir crosses at the site. Be a part of this spectacular growing site! On the way to the hill you'll be crossing the border so there is an option to stop at on the border for a photo with Latvia & Lithuania signs.
