We will paddle and swim into caves and tunnels carved from the lava of Vulcano, paddle and swim in the bubbling warm thermal spa waters that abound in the bays and grottos of this fabulous island.

What To Expect
After meeting on the beach, we will get yo ready with you equipment. The choice of the type of boat (open or closed kayak) is at the discretion of the organizers, depending on the weather or the season. You will have a safety introduction and a short class about how to use the paddle. After the introduction we will start at Spiaggia delle Acque Calde and paddle along the the east coast of Vulcano island. We are going to stop at several caves, paddle through arches, explore a thermal cave and paddle through another one with turquoise water. We will stop at designated spots and if you want you can go for a dip in the crystal clear water and snorkel. On the way back we will pass the fumaroles (vulcanic activity in the water) that you can see bubbling inn the water. We will end our trip back at our base.

5.00Sicily in kayak trip was FANTASTIC - thanks to Eugenio!!! 1. He is an excellent guide, intimately familiar with the area; expert at "reading the sea" 2. Eugenio is safe and conservative (where it is necessary) - he turned our group around (changed plans) when weather was not cooperating 3. His equipment is in a very good shape (it is very important and should not be taken for granted) 4. Siculy-in-in-kayak pre-trip questionare is very important: 6 day trip is not for beginners. To me this is a good sign - safety is taken seriously. 5. Eugenio is pleasure to deal with (friendly, good sense of humor). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

5.00Brief review: incredibly great 6-day tour in beautiful scenery with an excellent guide. Definitely book!!! Long version: the 6-day tour in the Aeolian Islands with Eugenio was unique. He is an entertaining storyteller, knows the surroundings very well (every cave & cove, campsites, as well as great restaurants), and when it comes to wind and weather, he can assess what is feasible for the participants and what is not. Despite challenging wind conditions that raised my adrenaline, I always felt safe due to Eugenio's calm demeanor. He is wholeheartedly a tour guide and is up for any fun. An unforgettable vacation in many ways (challenging, fun, beautiful) that I can only highly recommend. Thank you, Eugenio, and thanks to the great group for the wonderful time.

5.00We went kayaking and coasteering with Sicily in kayak and it was a great experience. The owner, Eugenio, guided us with great professionalism and a lot of sympathy. Its positive energy is contagious and made the day even more enjoyable. The places visited by the sea are spectacular and the activity is organized in a safe and fun way. Highly recommended to those passing by Vulcano!

5.00Beautiful experience, very nice Eugenio, provides you with the necessary equipment well maintained and clean. It prepares you for kayaking and lasts the route guides you (it is not easy with wind and current if you are not an expert). Along the way, he tells you the story of the island of Vulcano. But it’s not just a kayak ride to admire the coast; at one point he explains how to get into the water from the kayak without flipping over and guides you inside the natural caves of Vulcano making you discover the natural beauty of this island and having fun between rock climbing, snorkeling and underwater tunnels. An experience he really deserves!

5.00You cannot leave Vulcan without having experienced this authentic experience. For me, my wife and our two children aged 4 and 7 was the first time. Eugenio was impeccable in everything: professional, patient with mom and dad, protective of children, in an experience that surprises and does not expect, that excites and remains indelible, discovering geothermal caves of exceptional beauty. 5.00Eugenio is a force of explosive nature! Very sociable and knowledgeable. It puts you at ease and keeps you entertained despite the fact that you have never managed a kayak. It has good equipment and is a carefree adventure JUST PURE FUN. I also recommend this experience to people who like me have never been kayaking. He also managed my son who has many fears managed to make him discover the taste of adventure. For me an experience to repeat!!! Thanks Eugenio!!!
