Start of transfer The service is direct and safe, with professional drivers and comfortable vehicles, with air conditioning and luggage space. The route is direct and includes two stops for toilet or lunch. Assistance during the journey The driver provides basic passenger support, general route information and technical stops when necessary (bathing, rest or logistical coordination). Arrival at the final destination Private transfer takes place from Boquete to the port of Almirante. From this point, passengers continue to Isla Colón (Bocas del Toro) by shared water taxi complimentary with the company Lanchas Valencia. Upon arrival at the port of Almirante, one of our collaborators will be waiting to assist you and accompany you during the connection, ensuring that you board the boat correctly. The passenger is dropped off directly at the agreed point at the final destination, ensuring a hassle-free experience. It is important to note that the water taxi is a shared service and makes the direct transfer to the main island (Colón Island), without detours to other islands. 5.00Our driver picked us exactly on time and took us from boquete to Alimarante, with a free water taxi to Bocas del Toro. The trip was perfect, car was clean and he drove incredibly safely, pulling over any time he needed to use his phone (only once or twice). He provided large bottles of water for both of us, and offered plenty of bathroom breaks along the way. The highlight was a roadside stop at a beautiful waterfall where he cut up fresh pineapple for us! A quick welcome break in the 4 hour journey. Would highly recommend to anyone.

5.00Jason was an absolutely wonderful driver to ride with from David to Bocas del Toro. We had rented a car that needed to be returned in David, which meant we had to arrange alternative transport to continue on to Bocas del Toro. We didn’t want to take the bus, since that takes far too long and we had quite a lot of luggage with us. Smart Transport helped us with everything: they picked us up right from the airport in David to take us on the journey toward Bocas. It was an incredibly comfortable trip, fun and full of good company, and along the way we learned all kinds of interesting things about the areas we were driving through. As the cherry on top, we even stopped at a beautiful waterfall to enjoy some delicious fresh pineapple. From there it was on to Almirante, where they made sure we were comfortably settled onto the water taxi heading to Bocas del Toro. Truly top-notch service I’d recommend it to anyone!

5.00Very good transfer from Boquete to the water taxi for Bocas del Toro. In particular, Jason was exceptional. Polite, knowledgeable about the sights along the way. He made it very easy to stop for breaks and pictures. On top of that he was a really nice guy. Highly recommended.
