5.00We took a day trip from Bologna to Ravenna which was quite easy. Ravenna is a walkable town and the mosaics are stunning. Our guide Marina was so full of historical information about Ravenna and its priceless mosaics. Her love of history, Italy and people is so genuine and refreshing! 5.00This was a wonderful tour, very interesting, and our guide Rita was exceptional. It meant a lot of standing and quite a lot of walking but for us it was fine - older people might find it rather tiring. (My friend and I are only 80).
Good tour, great value, adds a lot of colour to small city.

5.00So much more to learn about the UNESCO mosaics than I had ever imagined. The interpretation, of those in Ravenna, is so fascinating and accurate, according to the gospels. Beautiful works of art from so many centuries ago. Rita, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and shared all of this information and answered any questions we had. She was an excellent tour guide and delightful to spend time with. I highly recommend!

5.00We had the best time on this tour! Marina was the best tour guide, both incredibly knowledgeable and super adorable! My entire family loved her! Do not hesitate to book this tour of the mosaics! They are incredible and Marina guides you through the history and meaning of all of them. At the end, you can shop in the store of the woman who makes all of the mosaic street signs in Ravenna! We also ate dinner at the restaurant that Marina suggested and it was a highlight of our day! This is a must tour in a beautiful, historical city!!

Silvia, our guide was very charming with a nice sense of humor, and of course knowledgeable about not only historical events but also about local culture in Ravenna. It was a long lovely city walk with astonishing mosaics as several highlights — I give the experience five stars.
