RIB Safari in the Lysefjord Experience More Than Just a RIB Adventure – Step Into Stavanger’s Maritime History Before the thrill of your high-speed RIB adventure begins, you’ll find yourself at one of Stavanger’s oldest and most iconic boathouses. Located at Strandkaien 34. a 400-year-old sea house that carries the soul of the city's maritime heritage Famous landmarks line up like pearls on a string as we glide through the water into Lysefjord. The tour passes iconic sights such as The Pulpit Rock, The Vagabond’s Cave, and Whisky Falls. The fjord has rich wildlife, so keep an eye out for seals, porpoises, sea eagles, and other animals. Be amazed by the steep mountain walls and stunning nature on both sides of the fjord. See Preikestolen/ The Pulpit Rock hanging 604 meters above you! The impressive Whisky Falls/ Hengjanefossen, a full 400 meters tall, you can literally touch and feel during the trip. The tour is filled with spectacular sights to capture in your camera roll and memory.

4.00Breathtaking scenery + adrenaline rush. The only downside for me was that there was next to no explanation of what we were seeing. Head in expecting to see some amazing sights and to go FAST (and take mental notes of things to Google later) and you'll have a great time.

5.00Wonderful time! Helpful and nice employees. Great boat and dry suits to stay comfortable and cozy. We lucked out and were the only people on the tour so basically had a private group with extra space and time. Go first excursion of the day to avoid too many other boats crowding the sights. Boat was very fast and bumpy but fun!!! Gorgeous waterways and mountains. So much more fun/interesting than taking a larger boat cruise. Highly recommend!!

5.00Great trip out on the rib. Interesting trip learning about local folklore and seeing the beautiful Whisky Falls amongst many other incredible sights. Full waterproof suit provided along with goggles which were needed. Great experience.

5.00Awesome! Very fun, high speed adventure. The jump suit kept us dry, and this is a great way to see the fjords- up close! We were on a Viking cruise and booked this a couple weeks prior to arrival. Just a 5 minute walk from the ship. Highly recommended!
