5.00Mimmo is by far the best most interesting and knowledge guide we ever have had on Any vacation. He will modify the tours any way you want and will go longer without looking at his watch. Mimmo is expert for All of Sicily. We spent 2 full days with him and truly felt like a friend vs a client. His English is Perfect along with a great sense of humor. He is a fantastic driver in his huge Beautiful new Mercedes Benz van. Roads are very narrow and winding. Don't even think about trying to drive yourself. Mimmo helps navigate to unique experiences, best photo stops, knows best restaurants away from tourists with local flavor Not tourist traps. If you go shopping he will advice you on if it is a good deal and make sure seller is honest. If you want to visit tiny villages to do family history he will assist you with locals which was the personalization of our tour we requested. It was amazing what archives he was able to assist with discovering! Mimmo will guide Any part of Sicily and does not have to be 2 days in row which is what we did and recommend. Mimmo is Perfecto!

5.00If you do one tour in Sicily , make sure it this trip! The Roman Villa and Valley of the temples are really unique and showcase the complex history of Sicily. The Roman Villa is in a very good state considering the age and extremely well preserved.
The tour is special because of the private Guide Mimmo's knowledge of these areas is quite extensive. He explained , in depth, the structure of the Villa, the purpose of the Mosaics , the history surrounding the region. We saw a few Bus tour groups moving quickly through whilst we still were being educated about individual rooms.
Spending the day with Mimmo was a pleasant experience as well A native Sicilian with multiple languages and a GREAT sense of humour allowed us insights into the places we visited but also opened us up to the Sicilian culture , food , lifestyle as well. He answered all our questions in full and we came away after our week and a half holiday more the wiser simply because of this tour.
Don't join the cattle .... I highly recommend this private tour.
