What To Expect
Here, you'll have the chance to observe thousands of flamingos, pelicans, and other bird species. The lagoon is a peaceful and picturesque location, perfect for photography and birdwatching. Onwards about 30 Minutes drive we have a photo stop at the Pink Salt Lake.
Reaching the iconic Sandwich Harbour, the real magic begins. You’ll witness the awe-inspiring sight of towering sand dunes cascading into the Atlantic Ocean. This secluded area is one of the highlights of Namibia’s coastline, offering unparalleled views and a sense of serenity that few places can match. 50 kilometers drive on the beach, with amazing wildlife sightings to get to Sandwich Harbour.

5.00We had such a great trip to Sandwich Harbour with M.A.D! The views were absolutely stunning, and our guide Japie made it even more special by sharing so much interesting information about the area. Driving through the sand dunes was such a fun part of the day, and Japie was incredibly skilled, so we felt completely safe the whole time, even on the steep dunes. Would definitely recommend M.A.D to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Sandwich Harbour!

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful time with M.A.D Travel discovering Sandwich Harbour and Pelican Beach. The highlight? Sandboarding down the dunes — kids and adults alike had a blast, especially after a lovely picnic in the dunes. An unforgettable experience we wholeheartedly recommend!
