Rome
This tour is for those who would like a complete overview of the beautiful city of Rome and have only one day. We’ll greet you directly below the gangway of your ship and after about a 75 minute drive from the pier the adventure will begin by visiting the sites of: The tour will include the following sites; Piazza Venezia, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel , Basilica of St. Peter, the Vittoriano, the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Arch of Costantine, the Circus Maximus, the Mouth of Truth, the Spanish steps, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon and more. The tour includes Vatican Museums guided visit small group (max 20 guests). The tour does not include Meals and/or drinks and Entrance fees to museums (excluding entrance to the Vatican Museums which are included)

Ship Transfer to Hotel, Vatican Museums with Private Guide

5.00Highly recommended. There were 8 adults in our group and we were picked up at the end of a cruise and transferred to Rome and our hotel. Then we were transferred tot the Vatican and provided with a private guide with skip the line tickets. The van was a little cozy for the 8 of us, but clean and no problem with the luggage. Pick-up was a bit early, as were we, and drive to Rome was pleasant. No travel commentary as driver was pretty quiet, except for some discussions with a few other drivers. LOL! Our Vatican Tour and Guide were absolutely wonderful. If you can, ask for Luca. A fine gentleman, not in a hurry, allowed us to ask many, many questions along with his detailed and knowledgeable commentary. We had someone in our group in a wheelchair and he handled this smoothly and was very intent on bringing our group to the wheelchair when we got into a room so all could hear. Skip the Line was absolutely awesome. We were touring within 15 minutes of arrival, including time walking to the entrance and merging with another group for ticket processing. It is very busy inside the Vatican and tour groups can be large. Do yourself a favor if you can and put together a small group and arrange for a private tour with Luca. You won't miss anything you wanted to see.
