Accademia is a very small museum and does not allow more than 600 people inside, for this reason the queue can vary from 3 to 5 hours in high season and it is not easy to find tickets .. !!

1.00Our tour guide was almost 15 minutes late. And it wasn’t a tour guide. She literally just gave us a QR code to have a video play on our phones. She also tried to give us one ear headphones with an audio jack, which no phones can even use an audio jack anymore anyway so it was complete garbage. We didn’t even watch the video because it was 40 minutes and basically just a documentary. Complete waste.

5.00Don’t bring food or beverages as they will be confiscated much like in airport security, and make sure you don’t lose your ticket before you scan into the museum. Also make sure you check out the musical instruments which are tucked away in the beginning of the museum
