It was a very interesting and informative city tour in the Art Nouveau city of Alesund and also about the history of Norway with our guide Lukas. He has enormous knowledge. We say thank you for the unforgettable day and the electronic brochure, with which one can read and deepen all the information. Christa and Rainer

We have taken many small group walking tours in various locations. Our walking tour with Lukas was the best we’ve had. He brought in-depth, insightful knowledge of Ålesund’s history and beauty along with how it intertwines with Norwegian history. He did more than tell us facts; he told a story. He even told us more about how his own story brought him to Ålesund. Our two hours flew by. It was an excellent way to spend our afternoon.

Very knowledgeable guide with much history and background info from him or his iPad. Rainy and cold day, would be better on a warm dry day

Our guide, Lukas, was excellent. Very knowledgeable with great English. Snowing heavily when we started the tour but dealt with that very professionally. A thoroughly enjoyable 2 hour walking tour

We were the only two booked on this morning’s tour so were privileged to enjoy a private tour. Lukas is very friendly and really passionate about Norway. He is extremely knowledgeable about Alesund and it’s art nouveau architecture thanks to his extensive research. I cannot recommend his tour highly enough. If you want to enjoy a more personal kind of tour with the opportunity to ask lots of questions, do not hesitate to book this tour with Lukas. We loved the coffee stop and sampling the brown cheese ice cream. Thank you Lukas!

Lukas arranged to meet in a very central location to our P&O Cruise terminal and greeted us with enthusiasm and warm smiles. My son and I toured with 3 lovely Canadians, and Lukas was very thorough and knowledgeable about the history of Alesund and we found his storytelling to be quite engaging. He shared some favourite spots including introducing us to his favourite ice cream, which was amazing (and I don't normally like desserts!) and also took us to a cheese shop where I could finally try btown cheese, which is delicious 😋 We've been on many tours over the years, and thoroughly enjoyed this on par with some of the best. Highly recommend if you are a history buff and want to get to know this area better 10/10

There is lots of walking on uneven pavement. Cold rain is possible. Do not google the given address. You will be lost. Head instead to the city center near the fountain. Your guide has a passion for the city and has lots of historical knowledge. The tour is enjoyable.
