  I highly recommend this tour to anybody who wants to learn about the history of Salem. I promise that you will be pleasantly surprised. As a Salem native, I thought I knew all the stories of my hometown, but I was wrong. Our tour guide, Allie, did a tremendous job detailing the rich, dark history while also leaving us tourgoers with a bunch of fun facts as well. The landmarks were beautiful. I had a lot of fun seeing locations like the graveyards, and learning about the people *inside* them. There was so much more covered, but I’d rather not spoil the tour for you :) The walking pace was also very good, so those who aren’t fast walkers can still enjoy the walk, as many of the historical events are surprisingly close to each other. Plus, some of the areas you learn about double as being close to the great food places Salem has to offer, so you can scope out your next plans too as you tour the spooky side of town. Allie is an amazing tour guide. She is super helpful and also answered questions. Before we even started, she offered a spare umbrella to a stranger stuck in the rain. Class act! Rest assured if you’re taking a tour with her, you’re in good hands and will leave feeling it was worth every penny! Enjoy.

  My husband arrived in Salem at 6:30pm and everything was closed except 1 restaurant so we were really bummed out. After our dinner, we were walking back to the LFYT pickup location when walked past the tour and the guide, Allie, asked us if we were there for the ghost tour. I said, "No, but can we be?" She said SURE! We paid for our tickets on the spot and then joined the rest of the gang. The tour was SO much fun! We walked to several locations and Allie came ready with photos and a flashlight to show us more about each spot. Nothing she said was rehearsed and she didn't have an annoying microphone. She's an authentic local who has a passion for the history of Salem. The experience made us feel welcome and turned our night around for the better! 10 out of 10!

  Allie was a great tour guide and everyone should take this tour! She really knows her stuff. I'll definitely be going back next year!
