Stonehenge
This romantic stone circle has stood here for over 4,500 years. Together with its surrounding prehistoric monuments, Stonehenge remains a powerful witness human imagination, ingenuity, and endeavour. Many theories have been proposed over the years about the function of Stonehenge. Is it the fossilized remains of ancient giants, a prehistoric temple, or a huge solar calendar? The only thing we can say for certain about Stonehenge is that we don’t know its true purpose, and maybe never will, which makes this mysterious place even more compelling. As a Tour Britannia customer you will avoid the long queues that build up at the ticket offices, even for pre-booked visitors. Tickets will be obtained on arrival by your guide who will also explain the background history of the stones, and generally help you to make the most of your time at this very special place.

Bath has been welcoming visitors for over 2,000 years and is famous for its Roman baths, stunning medieval cathedral, and sweeping Georgian crescents. Good experience into hidden gems of Cotswolds. Also the weather it was great, I really recommend staying in Broaday, a lovely city, specially the Hotel Abbots Granje, an old abby from 15 century.

This trip was the highlight of our vacation. Christopher, our guide was knowledgeable in history as well as the area. He was fun and went out of the way to show us things that were interesting to us and answered a billion questions! He took us places off the beaten path and we toured a castle that I didn't know existed. It had so much history and artifacts - its my favorite castle of all the castle I have seen in the UK. The area is beautiful and charming. We would have never seen or known the history behind the area if it wasn't for Christopher and this fantastic tour. Its definitely worth the time to get out of London and meander into the rolling hills. They staff at tour Britannia will definitely make sure your trip is memorable.
