You should dress for a 10-15°F temperature decrease from sea level (downtown) to the glacier. We recommend that you dress in sturdy shoes, long socks, warm layers, and sunglasses.
Please ensure your chosen departure time is at least one hour after your cruise ship's scheduled arrival time to allow for disembarkation and travel to the meeting point.

5.00This is not to be missed. It far surpassed my expectations. The airboat ride was like a circus ride through the floating ice up to the face of the glacier. The helicopter landing on the glacier was unforgettable.

5.00Our original helicopter tour to Mendenhall was cancelled at the last minute. A tour booth said this was a “Bad Ass tour”(forgive the language). She was dead on!!! The tour team was so professional and FUN! We enjoyed every minute of this experience. It was BAD ASS!! I would Highly recommend this experience. Helicopter pilot Lee was wonderful and Brian on the boat was loads of fun! DO NOT HESITATE to Book this adventure!!

5.00This was THE Best excursion we have ever done! We have been to Alaska 6 times in the last 18 ! The helicopter ride was incredible and beautiful! The Glacier landing was so amazing. Ok now the airboat ride was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, FUN, AMAZING. We were just so excited with this trip. the airboat was so great, you are small group so the personal attention is great! BOOK THIS you won’t regret it !

5.00A true unique adventure that cannot be compared to other tours. The airborne ride provided varied and up close views of the glacier and surrounding scenery. This is not a small glacier segment but a broad view of the glacial face. The owner operator supplied very warm coats for the ride and was kind and informative. I am so happy that he had made this experience available to us. The chopper ride took us over the mountain and dropped us where the airboat deck faces the glacier and sits next to a waterfall. After the ride the chopper picked us up for a trip landing on the glacier near a blue pool before flying over the Taku glacier and the mountains. I have been all over the world, but wow what a great day.

5.00I have been on many adventures all over the world. This felt like the most out of this world experience. The Helicopter ride over the river and then through the valleys of the mountains made me feel like I was in Narnia! The airboat ride was exhilarating and filled with all the wildlife. Seals, bald eagles, moose, and the wild Captain Brian all made for an unforgettable tour. Leaving the river and landing on the glacier was icing on the cake. standing on top of hundreds of feet of ice looking into the dark blue and watching as streams rolled off of the surface of the mountain of ice… Nothing short of miraculous. I hope you make the choice to go if you get the chance. You won’t be disappointed!!!

5.00Absolutely phenomenal experience. The weather was astounding on our trip. Our helicopter pilot Trey was fabulous and all the staff were from helping you get geared up, to the safety talk and everything. The airboat trip was amazing and Brian the airboat driver was fab too. Touching down on the glacier and walking to the blue pool was one of my most memorable experiences. Too think I almost cancelled out of fear. You won’t regret this experience.

5.00Pickup at the tram was chaotic. Most tour group reps had company signs but NS didn't. Everything after that was smooth and professional. They were all setup to receive our group of 5, from gear and lockers to safety review. Staff was patient and courteous with safety the priority. Every staff member made me feel like they've done this hundreds of times. The short helicopter ride was breathtaking with the pilot pointing out sights and answering questions. The airboat ride was as fun as a roller coaster, frequently stopping to let us take pictures, and again pointing out sights and answering questions. The second helicopter ride and then walking on the glacier is something you won't forget. All very professional. The time went by so quickly and the only disappointment was that it was over. We spent about 50% more than we planned for this excursion but in the end it was well worth it for both helicopter and boat rides. "Spend a little more and get a lot more" Small group size was key for intimacy.
