It is said that England is the most haunted country on Earth, and indeed, there are more ghost stories and strange tales, mile for mile, than any other place in the world. With such a rich and varied history, this should come as no real surprise. Therefore, it seems only fitting that it should also have the most haunted capital city on Earth. On this ghost walk, we will encounter everything from murderous queens to demon dogs, as well as a few gentler souls. And while this walk is primarily a ghost walk, I will also point out a few places of historical interest.
Not only will you be led by a fully experienced City of London guide, but also a veteran ghost hunter. Who has personally taken part in over 15 overnight ghost hunts across England.
The guide is also a horror author, who loves anything to do with the supernatural.

The walk is pretty easy, but there are a small number of Stairs that we will encounter.
What To Expect
For our first stop of the night, we will visit Christ Church Greyfriars. You will hear the story of both the location’s history, as well as that of its most famous ghost, Queen Isabella, wife of King Edward the II of England, or as history more famously remembers her as, the She Wolf of France.
Holy Sepulchre London
For the 2nd stop of the evening we will visit the largest parish church in the city of London. Where we will find out about the very grisly practice of grave robbing, A crime that reached epidemic proportions in the late 18th and early 19th century.

5.00Alan was extremely knowledgeable about the area covered by the Fading Light London Ghost Walk. He was very entertaining as he told us about the ghosts that are said to still move among us today. We spent a wonderful two hours learning about London's gruesome history and ghostly legends. We can't recommend this walk highly enough.

5.00Great tour! Alan was very well versed in the history of the area and brought us to some very interesting sites. The tour was well paced, thorough and quite interesting. Lots of historic information. We were the only two people booked and the tour continued even with these lower numbers. While I can’t comment on how this would run with larger numbers, we really lucked out with the smaller tour and more individual attention. We even received some good recommendations for future reading materials aa our guide was very much into books and stories reflecting aspects of the tour but also thriller/horror genre of multimedia varieties. Well done Alan, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend your tour for those who would like to take a walk about London and learn some pretty cool things along the way.

5.00I had a great time on this guided tour of London. Alan really surpassed himself: his passion for the subject was truly contagious. The ride through the hidden corners of the city was both fascinating and full of atmosphere, thanks in part to the ghost stories and historical anecdotes he told us along the way. He is a compelling and compelling storyteller, who brought each story to life in a way that made the experience memorable from start to finish. 5.00We had the most wonderful evening guided by Alan through the streets of London. He provided great knowledge on areas of London as well as been a really friendly chap. We felt the fee for the tour was very reasonable priced for 2 hours. One thing we would recommend is to bring extra layers if it’s cold as you stop for periods of time where it can be windy and we got quite chilly.
