Vasa Museum
This museum is the most visited in Scandinavia and considered one of the best in the World. The Vasa, the most famous battle galleon, was commissioned by King Gustav II Adolf in 1625. On August 10, 1628, the Vasa weighed anchor from Stockholm, but during its maiden voyage, The Vasa sank after only 20 minutes and 1300 mts from shore. The ship was rediscovered in 1956 and today the Vasa, is the only galleon in the world of its kind. Is a must see while you visit Stockholm!
Stockholm Old Town
Located in the island of Stadsholmen, Gamla Stan or Old Town, is one of the best preserved medieval city centers in Europe and one Stockholm’s most visited places.
