The geisha residence is a private home where people still live today. To respect privacy and preserve the atmosphere of the space, please refrain from taking photos without permission. Dedicated time for photography will be provided during the experience.
The practice stage is considered a sacred cultural space. Yor are kindly asked to wear socks when stepping onto the stage. Socks will be provided for your convenience.
On rainy days, please dry your feet with a towel before entering the stage area.
To preserve the atmosphere and cultural integrity of the experience, guests are expected to follow the guide’s instructions throughout the tour. Guests who do not follow instructions may be asked to leave the experience.

5.00The Geisha studio tour was absolutely amazing. We learned about Geisha culture and the authentic traditions of Geisha. Even though I’m Japanese, it was my first time visiting places like this. Watching the Geisha perform Nihon Buyo (traditional Japanese dance) was especially memorable—the movements were graceful, elegant, and it reflected traditional Japanese culture. I was surprised to hear that many actors visit this studio to not only to practice the Niho Buyo , but also to learn the traditional Japanese etiquette and manners. And last but not the least, one of the exciting part of this tour was that we got to dance the Nihon Buyo. The Geisha taught us some of the dance movements, and we had the opportunity to stand on stage and dance with them!!

5.00After an incredible week in Japan, this tour ended up being the perfect final chapter of our trip before flying home. We started our journey with a Tsukiji tour and a sushi‑making class, which really set the tone for how much we wanted to experience the “real” side of Japanese culture. This geisha experience in Shibuya felt like the ideal way to wrap everything up. Watching the geisha dance from just a few feet away was absolutely mesmerizing. Every movement with the fan felt intentional and full of meaning, and I found myself completely drawn in. When she invited us to try a few simple motions, I suddenly realized how much discipline and control are behind each graceful gesture👏 It was intimate, authentic, and honestly one of those moments that stays with you long after the trip is over. As a final memory before heading home, it was everything I hoped for and more!!

5.00An incredible experience in Shibuya! It is an immersion in Japanese culture, offering a real and authentic experience, completely different from a classic geisha show. We had exclusive access to a private stage to admire the splendor of the architecture. Learning etiquette and dance with the geishas was magical. Being on that sacred and special stage will remain a memory etched forever. I highly recommend it!

I was looking for a geisha experience tour that would allow me to experience and learn about authentic culture—not just a dance show—and this tour was exactly what I was looking for. This is a genuine Japanese dance culture experience—a real and authentic experience completely different from a touristic Geisha show. Getting exclusive access to a private stage, which is normally closed to the public, was deeply fascinating, and I was amazed by the splendor of the architecture. The geisha beautifully taught us traditional etiquette and foundational dance movements. Standing on that sacred and special stage with them was a truly precious memory. 5.00Visiting a geisha training studio that is normally closed to the public was an incredible experience. We not only watched a beautiful dance performance but also learned some dance movements ourselves. I was deeply moved to learn about the traditions and cultural values that have been passed down through generations. I had always associated geisha culture with Kyoto, so I was surprised to discover that it also exists in Shibuya. The walk through Shibuya on the way to the studio was also enjoyable and added to the experience. This is a truly unique tour that you won’t find anywhere else. Highly recommended!
