Alberto was a great guide! Very knowledgeable and made sure everyone felt safe and secure. Make sure to bring a light jacket.

This night tour was amazing! Alberto is so passionate and knowledgeable about the land, its plants, and creatures. The walk is on a former farm/orchard that is being restored. We saw tons of frogs along with some cool insects and sleeping birds. We were worried about the rain, but it made things better. We went on the 7pm tour and finished at 9:30pm. It ended up being just our group of 4, so we got a private tour. I think if you book directly through the Anura website, it’s cheaper. Truly incredible, highly recommend.

This was so much fun!!! Thank you so much Alberto for such a cool and informative experience. We were greeted with the freshest most juiciest pineapple I have ever eaten, followed by a quick introduction to the park and how everything here came to be. It’s so nice to be in the company of someone who actually cares about what they’re doing. We walked through the trail, where we stopped to check out different species of frogs, spiders, iguanas, centipedes, and even alligators! The list of animals goes on and on. Without Alberto’s expertise it would’ve been impossible to see and handle some if not all of the creatures. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to La Fortuna. You have to check it out!

Anura has been one of the highlight of our visit to La Fortuna, our guide was very kind, knowledgeable and excited about frogs, bugs and plants and took the time to respond to questions and highlight little bugs. We enjoyed the walk and talk. The trail is easy, family friendly. I think supporting Anura is supporting a great example of habita restoration, nature can recover when we humans help a bit! Great experience!

I had so much fun on this tour! A couple guided us through this tour and they were so knowledgeable! We were able to see sloths, snakes, frogs, among other insects! I would advise if you are ubering to schedule an uber for the way back as this location is a little remote from the city, but we had no trouble coming back at 10pm when we scheduled uber.

Hands down the best tour I’ve ever done. Saw some crazy cool things, got some sick photos to flex, and honestly learned a lot. Our guide was very patient with our large group of man-children, and knew every single organism like the back of his hand. Once you get used to the heat and the bugs it’s like you’re inside of an Animal Planet show. I attached a blurry photo I got of a snake, but he took dozens of amazing Nat Geo-worthy photos of iguanas, snakes, frogs, spiders, and more that he sent to us after. Honestly would go again, like during this trip. Bring water!!
