The Red House is one of the oldest houses in Vaduz. It was first mentioned in documents in 1338. 1525 acquired the monastery of St. John in the Thur valley, the house and vineyard for 758 guilders. After almost 300 years, the estate was sold again in 1807. Since then it has been owned by the Rheinberger family. In the back of the house is the wine press, the Torkelbaum, an oak trunk, in the winter of 1483/84 was proven fell. The wine press is still functional today The spacious cellar vaults offered space for the storage of 20,000 liters of wine.
Hofkellerei of the Prince of Liechtenstein
The princely vineyard "Herawingert", with its 4 hectares of vineyards is the most traditional and important vineyard in Vaduz. It is considered the centerpiece of viticulture in the Principality and has been in the possession of the Princely House since 1712. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay find the best conditions for an excellent wine. Every drop, a princely wine pleasure, which one should not miss.

Punctual, informative, and encompassed parts of town so steep that I would never otherwise have seen them. Surprised to see so many vineyards and cows within the city limits. The tour was pre-recorded in multiple languages. This could have been a five star review, but for obvious reasons the train/trolley doesn't visit the inside of the castle, the Landsmuseum, and the art museum. More commentary on the Rathaus would have been welcome.

The train will take to through Vaduz attractions in less than an hour . It will go to the uphill area if you find it difficult to walk . Train will cover places like Red house ,vineyards, stadium . Vaduz castle can be seen from different angle .

Prior to our trip, I'd researched things to do in Vaduz and this was recommended. However, when I started researching, things got a little confusing. You could buy advanced tickets at a discount but they were through many different tour companies. We didn't know exactly what time we'd be in town, but we also didn't want to miss the tour. So, we bought advanced tickets online, only to find they were cheaper in person. It was a short tour of town. The headset audio was bland, but it was a highlight for my children, so that's something. It's confusing to read that on some trains, the driver gives their own tour to the passengers and on others, you just listen to the headsets. Not sure about the consistency??

Quaint little ride through the capital with a plug in headset. Explains a little about the monarchy and how it came to be and also tourist attractions around the city.

Tour was a great introduction to Litschgenstein and very pleasurable. Sorry, I don’t have time to say more.

We used our Bodensee card for this so I’ve no idea how much it actually costs. Whatever it is, it’s probably too much. That said, it is an easy way to see what’s what in Vaduz. The commentary is pretty rubbish though. Really waffly and hard to follow. On balance, I’d say it’s worth doing. Just don’t have high expectations.

We had not reserved anything in advance and were early in Vaduz (10 am). We wanted to do this tour and tried to buy a ticket. Unfortunately seller (later also driver) said we could at 11.30am. While we were still on site, the seller came out of his loft and indicated that we could probably already at 10.30am and if we wanted to wait nearby. Not much later he picks us up and can buy the tickets and were allowed to board. Another large group came and this allowed us to sit next to each other in the back. The service deserves a 10. The trip through Vaduz is fun, so you get a bird's eye view of the highlights of Vaduz. You do not come close to castle with the 35 minute tour and that is a small minus. All in all fun to do. Parking is available nearby. On weekends it costs nothing, but you have to register your license plate. You can stand there for a maximum of 3 hours and that is certainly sufficient for center Vaduz.

Had a great experience on the Stadtle tour. What an amazing way to see Vaduz and learn all about it's history and culture! We are a couple in our thirties but I think this tour is suitable for all ages. I really enjoyed seeing the Vaduz stadium, vineyards and learning about the castle and Prince of Liechtenstein. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Vaduz!

Vaduz city train service was very useful to us, as it was quick taking just around 35 minutes to complete its route and took a route covering the city centre and some suburbs which were more residential so that we could get an idea of the Liechtensteiner's style of life. Further it went through vineyards where the Liechtenstein wines originates. The city had many interesting sculptures which were of very high artistic value. There was a commentary to listen, to identify the monuments they were passing and the highlights of the tour. If one is on a day tour to Vaduz this facility would be of immense use.
