Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcases and 1 carry-on bag. All bags must weigh 50lbs or less per bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) may have certain restrictions, please inquire with the operator prior to travel to confirm if your excess luggage is acceptable
Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
Strollers can be stored underneath the bus for no additional charge provided that they can be folded by the traveler, weigh less than 50lbs, and do not have a motor.
Children must travel with an Adult.
Infants and Children weighing up to 18 kg (40 lbs.) who board a seatbelt equipped vehicle are required to ride in an approved CMVSS car seat supplied by the child’s parent or caregiver, and be secured to the vehicle using the seatbelt (lap belt).
Certified Guide Dogs can accompany an individual on our bus. Valid Guide or Service Dog Certification must be presented to the driver at check-in. Contact company in advance to confirm the eligibility of your guide dog certification.
What To Expect
Enjoy the ease of a convenient transfer between the city of Victoria (on Vancouver Island) and the city of Vancouver as you board a comfortable motor coach at one of several accessible locations. Sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful vistas along the way. Spring onboard your motor coach at the Victoria Bus Depot (Capital City Station). Be transported effortlessly to the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal on Vancouver Island where the bus will drive onboard the ferry and you will embark upon a Ferry sailing to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal in the city of Vancouver. Your 95-minute ferry trip will lead you across the Strait of Georgia on a scenic journey through the Gulf Islands. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for various wildlife and admire the beautiful panoramas on route! Arrive at Tsawwassen terminal in Vancouver city, re-board the familiar motor coach at the end of the sailing, and be transported to your destination of choice. Select from the Vancouver bus depot or train station (Pacific Central Station), the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, or a few select hotels in downtown Vancouver. 5.00Our first experience with this type of transfer - but it was flawless. We were checked in and picked up with luggage at Victoria pick up point, driven onto to ferry and back to bus at end of ferry ride. Drop off in Vancouver was perfect. Hats off to Tim, our driver with BC Connect who explained everything clearly and worked with all passengers on their drop off locations.

4.00Driver was very clear with instructions and had a very pleasant personality. Seats comfortable. It would be good to offer a drop off at to the cruise ship terminal as had to get a taxi - it was only a short ride but too far to walk with luggage.

This was a great option, and nice to have all taken care of from bus to ferry to airport without all the hauling of bags back and forth. Our driver was great and kept us informed what to expect on the trip, which we really appreciated.

5.00This was the easiest and most cost effective way to travel from Victoria to Vancouver. The bus drove straight on to the Ferry. Passengers then go up on to one of the decks to enjoy an amazing beautiful ride through gorgeous scenery. All while our luggage stays safely locked in the bus. Once we reached Vancouver we returned to the bus. It pulled out from the Ferry and drove to several stops including an Airport trasfer location and the hotel where we stayed, the Fairmont Vancouver.

4.00The pick up midtown went smoothly. I was worried about the weight of my suitcase but then it wasn’t weighed. It’s a seamless transfer from Victoria to Vancouver. Make sure the driver knows where you want to be dropped off. And pay attention when taking bags off the bus. Someone took my bag off the bus at the last stop do for 10-15 mins I did not have a bag. Luckily it was handed in to the hotel at the stop and I was dropped off to pick up my bag. A bit of a panic. Driver was very apologetic.
