Explore Ichan-Kala (Inner wall city), the central fortress in Khiva, which holds the majority of the main sights and is a strikingly intact medieval city. Ichan-Kala in Khiva was the first site in Uzbekistan to be inscribed on the World Heritage List. And it is also the land of World known Great Historians, Mathematicians, Astronomers and many other Scientists such as Al-Beruni and Al-Khorezmi.

5.00We contacted Bobur a year ago when we initially planned our trip to Khiva (Uzbekistan). He was not available on the requested date but quickly found us an alternative guide. We had to postpone our trip by a year and he was luckily available then. He toured us for a day around Khiva and was fantastic. His knowledge and attention to all our requests were perfect. He is engaging and good fun to be with. He speaks excellent English. We were also looking for a guide to the Fergana valley, and he found a guide and organised a fantastic 3-day tour for us (reviewed separately). After we left Khiva he continued to show interest in our trip which is exceptional these days. Don’t look any further and contact him! 5.00Wonderful tour in ancient Khiva with an extraordinary guide. Magic atmosphere in this city full of history and very well preserved. A very knowledgeable guide who brought us back to the ancient kan era covering history, art, religion and habits of the ancient citizens of Khiva. The guide answered all our questions and tailored the tour to the group needs with a perfect English and some words in Italian. Highly recommended!
