Described in the first world's encyclopedia Naturalis Historia, Vjetrenica is one of the largest caves in Europe. Much of it has not been even explored yet, but the accessible part offer an insight into the wonders of the underground world. Rich in fauna, with numerous natural decorations in form of stalactites and stalagmites, with lakes and rivers, Vjetrenica really seems as the place from the fairytale. Our tour starts in Mostar. On the way we visit Radimlja, medieval necropolis whose tombstones date back even to one thousand years ago. Richly decorated, these tombstones reveal the life in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the medieveal times. Upon visit to Vjetrenica, we visit Zavala, nearby Orthodox monastery carved deep in the rocks. Zavala's mysterious monks will welcome us as we pass through the tunnels and stairways of this beautiful monastery.

Marco was a great tour guide, also great conversation. Our expected stop was unexpectedly closed at the time but we still got a mini history lesson and some more to make up for it. The tour itself was very interesting and the caves was something new. Make sure to wrap up as it is cold even at the entrance! Great views on the way too! Make sure to stay awake at least one way of the journey!

Marko was an incredible guide to the caves! He was punctual and gave enough information about the meeting point. The caves offered an insightful historical experience (great temperature during the heatwave too!). Also, he was flexible with the itinerary and even brought us to a beautiful monastery on the way back to Mostar. Highly recommend this tour and the agency! Wish we had more time to go to them all!

If you're keen on caves and great customer service, this tour is an absolute must! There were just the four of us on the tour, and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. The cave was one of the best we've seen, and it was nice to also visit a few other places we'd never have noticed without this tour. As for our guide, he made the trip! He always made sure we were comfortable and accommodated our requests to stop twice at the necropolis of Radimlja (on the way there and back)! He enthusiastically answered all our questions, was super knowledgeable, and continuously checked in to ensure that we got everything we wanted out of the tour.
