10h00 : arrive to Domaine Beaumont, 2 rue de l'Église, 49400 Distré - an introduction and visit of the vines - visit of the troglodyte cave and cathedral-like wine cellar - 'caveau de dégustation’ for an immersive wine tasting with Gérald - 'casse-croûte du vigneron' - picnic-style sandwich Following an introduction and a walk through the vines, Gérald will guide you on a unique sensory journey through his wine production. 5.00We had a lovely day with Gerald and Sarah Jane learning about the vines, wine growing and wine tasting. We learnt to understand what we were tasting and the elements to look for of their delicious wines. We then had a lovely lunch of salads and local cheeses and meats in the garden of their beautiful home. A fun, fascinating day and one where we learnt so much about the wines we were tasting. We would highly recommend.
