Very easy to be accessed and very interesting to be visited when you are in Yogyakarta as the Culture City.

5.00The trip covered all of the city historical spots (ex the major temples). As it was the end of my short trip I was keen to see the Royal palace and the Water palace in particular (without meandering around). Sarj my driver/guide was insightful and understood that I did not want to linger in any place. He tailored the day yo suit me. He was very accommodating.

5.00We had a great city tour with Mr Wardo. We very much appreciated the flexibility of the tour as it started to rain in the afternoon so we adapted the tour and visited a Luwan coffee factory instead of doing the sunset temple part. We both enjoyed the city of Yogyakarta - definitely worth a visit and a day tour.

The afternoon brought us to the enchanting Water Castle (Tamansari), where the Sultan’s former recreational complex sparked our imagination with tales of royal leisure. Our guide was practically a historian—his deep knowledge and passion for history made the tour fascinating. He explained the rich heritage of the Sultan’s Palace in great detail, helping us understand Javanese culture and traditions.
