The Grand Circuit at Angkor Park is unique because it provides access to less-visited, more remote temples, offering a more peaceful and less crowded experience than the main Small Circuit. Highlights include the island temple of Neak Pean, the temple of Ta Som with its striking tree-entwined gate, and the sunset-view temple of Pre Rup. This circuit is a good option for those with more time who want to explore deeper into the park's wonders.
Banteay Srei is unique for its highly intricate, 3D carvings in a soft, pinkish sandstone, its relatively miniature size compared to other Angkor temples, and the fact that it was not commissioned by a king, but by a Brahman courtier. It is often called the "jewel of Khmer art" or the "Citadel of the Women" due to the delicate and detailed craftsmanship.

Preah Khan Temple
Preah Khan is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII to honor his father. It is located northeast of Angkor Thom and just west of the Jayatataka baray, with which it was associated. It was the centre of a substantial organisation, with almost 100,000 officials and servants.
Neak Pean
Neak Pean at Angkor, Cambodia is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baray, which was associated with Preah Khan temple, built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is the "Mebon" of the Preah Khan baray.

5.00After visiting the most known temples of Angkor Wat complex, we decided to do the Grand Circuit Tour and Banteay Srei on the following day, so we could get a better insight into Cambodian culture. These are more secluded temples and therefore much quieter and less crowded, almost for yourself, in the middle of nature and where you can only hear the birds. We decided to go with Easy Angkor Trip, run by Mr. K. He gave us all kinds of details and curiosities which helped us to understand more about the history and religion of this fantastic country, besides taking lots of amazing pictures. We also had so much fun with Mr. Nakhim, our driver, who was always smiling and so attentive to all that we could need. Thanks to Mr. K we were also able to meet many different people, have a taste of the rich cuisine of the area (including some vegetables we took from the fields) and get to know more remote villages in the jungle. In short, we lived a unique experience that would not have been possible on our own. If you really want to understand the history and meet the people of Cambodia Mr. K. is your man. We highly recommend this tour and we are looking forward to come back to continue discovering this wonderful country.

5.00A great tour! Mr. K was very informative, attentive, and knew what temples were of most interest and a good time of day to visit them. He also gave us great information about the area outside the temples, his love for Cambodia shines through. I highly recommend any tour that he organizes.
