In the morning around 9:00am,your guide and driver will meet you at Guilin hotel lobby and drive you to Guilin West Railway Station where a train to Guizhou Congjiang(D2820 09:55-10:54) is waiting for you. The train takes around 59 minutes.

Upon arrival at Congjiang, your guide will find a local car and transferred to the Zhaoxing Dong village. The Zhaoxing Dong Village, located in Liping County, southeast of Guizhou Province, is one of the largest Dong Villages in Qiandongnan area in Guizhou. Walking into Zhaoxing Dong Village, one will feel as though the clock is being turned back. All the buildings in the village are wooden-stilt houses. This is a picturesque village noted for the beautiful natural sights and unique ethnic flavor. It is surrounded by verdant mountains with a crystal stream running through. During this day tour, you also have a chance to visit the Tang’an Dong village, and take a hike(2 hours) from Tang’an to Zhaoxing, passing through Xiage Dong village and the terraced paddy fields.

Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes: From Guilin Yangshuo to Zhaoxing Dong village need 3.5hrs driving each way via the highway, 253km. Andy, my guide, took care of everything and was very easy to work with. He came to my hotel and picked me up, and we took the train. The train from Guilin to Zhaoxing Dong was fast and convenient.
