Explore one of the largest caves in Montenegro with a 1-hour guided tour of the Lipa Cave. The cave, with its beautiful and wild system of passages and halls over 1.5 miles long (approximately 2.5-km) should not be missed on your Montenegro visit. A short train rain will bring you from the parking area to the cave site. Tour includes all equipment and entrance fees, and will not exceed a maximum of 50 people. Choose from one of five departure times when you book.

Lipa cave
Tailor-made to our most demanding visitors’ wishes, this tour will present you with the essence of the underground world. You will have the chance to enjoy beautiful underground features, feel the wind blowing through different cave passageways, visit some of the most famous cave halls and walk along the main cave corridor. Tour lasts 60 minutes (including the train ride from the parking lot to the entrance of the cave), which is enough time to embrace all and many overwhelming cave features.

5.00It's not the prettiest cave (compared to other similar caves), but it's definitely a nice experience. Driving to the cave is challenging dur to the very narrow road. The tour started on time. From the parking lot to the cave you ride in a small tram. Then the guide (very nice and professional) starts the tour inside the cave. It's a short walk to the end of the accessible part of the cave. The entire tour is around an hour.

4.00This was a great activity to do on a rainy day outside. We had a really approachable, informative and funny guide. It's an awesome visit with incredible cave features. I'm not sure that all the visitors could follow, though.

3.00The driveway is a bit remote the road relatively broken. Tickets have to be bought on site, which is why we had to wait 1h. The cave was well lit and nicely renovated, but the guide was not motivated. In addition, the groups are very large.

4.00Nice cave and nice tour of about an hour. Fine to entertain around podgorica. Half an hour drive and close to a nice village where you can have a drink afterwards. Unfortunately we had a group with many young children who were not suitable to come with us. They disrupted the explanation and were quite annoying. our advice: no toddlers and preschoolers in the cave. Slightly older children from about 8 fine.

5.00The tour was amazing. Our guide was very patient and friendly and you can understand his English. The cave itself was beautiful. Everywhere you go you see all kinds of shapes and formations created by the running water and the minerals in the cave. It’s like visiting a natural art exhibition. I am looking forward to what new formations will form in twenty years.

5.00We highly recommend a trip to the cave. The price is adequate for what awaits us. We highly recommend the guide, Ksenia. She spoke excellent English and spoke interesting and entertaining stories about the cave. She was very open to questions and great to talk to. It's worth arriving 15 minutes early to buy a ticket and get ready. It's actually around 10 degrees Celsius in the cave and windy.Our trip lasted about 50 minutes, including the drive to the cave from the parking lot.
