  If you're a first time visitor to Victoria this is a great way to get a feel for the city's popular sites. You can do the whole ride then go back to those you want to spend time at or hop off at one & catch a later bus to the next spot that grabs your interest. The bus is comfy & the narration was interesting & humorous.

  Our cruise ship landed in Victoria for about six hours, so having this tour was well worth it. Our driver Brian, was wonderful. He was friendly and informative throughout the whole tour.

  This is a great first-day-in-Victoria activity because if you ride the entire 90-minute route you get a good introduction to Victoria and some of the main attractions. On subsequent rides, you can get to some of the sights that are too far to walk from the central city.

  You get to see the most important and interesting areas of Victoria in about 90 minutes round trip and can then decide as you like what you want to take a closer look at and how long you want to stay. The information about headsets is also sufficient for an initial overview. A good and cheap way to get to know Viktoria.

  Fun and informative tour! We really enjoyed our driver Hummingbird and her stories and descriptions as we wound around the sites if Victoria. It was a major highlight of our visit.

  The bus gave us an excellent overview of the city, so much so we went round twice and got off and back on at several places. Sadly the Craigdarroch (spelling?) castle wasn’t open on a Monday (and a Tuesday) which was disappointing and not something we were told about when we got on. The recorded commentary was interesting and informative and some (not all unfortunately) of the bus drivers elaborated on its content with their own personal insights. This took this element to a different level and those drivers need to be commended.

  We were on a Royal Caribbean Cruise and this was supposed to be an 11 stop, 40 minute loop on/off shore excursion. We got off the boat at about 3:45PM and needed to be back on the boat by 930PM. By the time we got to the first stop it was about 4:30 and the bus driver told us to exit the bus, she had to go back and get more people from the ship. We were told to get on the bus that was coming in behind her. We got on it, and after we pulled out we found out that he was not part of the on/off tour, but a separate 90 minute tour that did make stops. The new bus driver informed us that he was finished at 6, but the original bus ran until 930, but being the only bus on the route, and she now had 2 bus loads of people to transport. He warned us to not get off at any of the later stops because due to the over booking and the length of the route, we may not have a ride back to the ship. We got off at Fisherman's Wharf, stayed for about an hour, waited at the stop for about 1/2 hour and eventually took a taxi back to the boat. It really was a total waste of our time. The little bit that we saw of the city was stunningly beautiful!! I would imagine that tour would have been much better if we would've been able to start in the morning when there are several buses on the loop. But that late in the day, it was pointless!!

  The hop on hop off was a great idea if it did exactly what they stated. Wait times were extremely long, waiting almost 90 for a ride at some stops. Worse part was when the driver Hummingbird didn’t even stop to pick us up one time. Just lift her hands in a motion of “oh well” while she drove past the stop with no hesitation. She also made it really clear that she was in vacation mode when we first joined her and kept insisting that we donate to her vacation fund, aka give her a tip, plus made it awkward that she was running late and kept saying “this day is screwed up.” Overall, I suggest not booking with them, unless you like long wait times, want hear about the importance of tips and someone’s true opinion on topics that shouldn't be shared.

  We only did tour without getting off due to time constraints, but it the open air top and guide/driver were excellent. We got to see much of Victoria and learn quite a bit.
