Join us on a guided tour of Monument Valley that covers major scenic points and The Backcountry monuments. This 2.5-hour tour spans over 28/45 km and offers a unique opportunity to witness the beauty and history of this iconic location. Our knowledgeable guides will take you through the most picturesque spots, providing interesting insights and facts along the way. Don't miss out on this unforgettable experience! As part of the tour, the Backcountry section offers a mesmerizing experience of exploring natural arches and fascinating Petroglyphs that date back to the Anasazi civilization, providing a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region.

We do observe Daylight Savings TIme. We are on Mountain Standard Time (UT). Be advised that there is a one hour time difference between Arizona Time Zone and the Navajo Nation Time Zone (Mid-March to October).

• All tours leave from the FRONT of The View Hotel building. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time for loading. Our guide will be waiting for you in front of the hotel at the LOADING AREA, approximately 50 yards west of the entrance. We depart strictly on the hour, so please be punctual. Had a great time listening to the guide sharing facts about the Navajo and stories about the culture. The ride was enjoyable and he gave us ample time to explore the stops inside the back country.

We all loved the tour. We learned so much and the guide Joseph was excellent. Monument Valley was an exquisite site that was really memorable.

The entire tour was very good. Our Navajo guide (Joe) was outstanding. He gave us a great amount of information about the area and made the experience so memorable. We went to places that are not accessible except for being on a tour. There are several companies offering tours in Monument Valley, and I cannot imagine that any of them could be any better.

This was an excellent and informative tour of Monument Valley. Our guide, Joe, gave many insights into Navajo life and the history of the valley. And the part of the tour on backroads was fascinating. I highly recommend this tour.

Joe was amazing and engaging. He told stories of the Dineh culture in a beautiful way. He offered some amazing photography shots and all in all we had a fabulous time. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you Joe!

So much fun! Our guide played the flute while we all sat/leaned on the smooth rock under an opening in the rock formation. It was so peaceful and one of my favorite AZ memories (and I've lived here for 10 years).

this is an absolute must to do! we would highly recommend this trip not only is it informative, but our guide John was a wealth of information! The scenery that you will see is absolutely breathtaking!!!
