Our Harvest the Hunter Horse and Carriage Wine Tour offered by Hunter Valley Horses is a unique way to experience the Hunter Valley with its beautiful scenery and award-winning wine and produce. If you want to fit as much into your visit to the Hunter Valley as you can, this is the perfect tour - it runs for 3 hours and includes tastings at 3 venues ( 2 x wine tastings, 1 x cheese and chocolate tasting), you'll never want it to end!

SUMMARY OF ALL INCLUSIONS If you want to fit as much into your visit to the Hunter Valley as you can, this is the perfect tour - it runs for 3 hours and includes tastings at 3 venues, you'll never want it to end! The venues we visit are dependent on availability and may include Pokolbin Estate, Tamburlaine Organic Wines, McGuigan Wines, Sobels Wines, Pokolbin Village Smelly Cheese, the Pokolbin Chocolate shop, the Pokolbin Chocolate Factory or The Carriages Boutique Hotel and Vineyard. Most of our venues provide our groups with private sit-down tastings where you will learn about the processes involved in making these beautiful wines.

5.00Horses are placid, beautiful giants. Jacquie was our laid back but knowledgeable guide. I have some challenges walking sometimes but the carriage’s stairs were easy to navigate. Hard to beat wandering along through the bush to the sounds of nature before stopping somewhere for wine or cheese or chocolate! Highly recommended.

5.00We had the most wonderful time! We went as a family of five with our three little girls and it truly exceeded our expectations. Jackie was absolutely lovely. She was so warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, especially with the kids. She made our oldest feel incredibly special by letting her sit up front and feel like she was “controlling” the horse an unforgettable moment! She was incredibly patient while the kids patted and fed the horses and tried her best at making sure they felt comfortable the entire time. It was such a fun, relaxed and memorable outing. If you’re visiting the Hunter Valley with kids this tour is an absolute must. We’ll treasure the memories forever!

5.00My husband and I took this trip this morning and it was so enjoyable. We were in the very capable hands of Keeley (spelling?!) who was excellent and a very good horse woman. The horses were very good all the way round and it was such a lovelyway to travel through the area. We went to two Vineyards and ended with a chocolate and cheese tasting. Thoroughly recommended 👌

5.00We loved the horse and carriage experience. It was fantastic. Our host was very experienced and a lovely lady. Jack and Rocky were the most beautiful horses. We are not into organic wines so we did not love the winery but the second winery (Vamp) more than made up for that. We absolutely loved that winery. Our host at Vamp was a wonderful girl and the whole wine tasting experience was fantastic. We also liked the cheese and chocolate tastings. This is a must do when you are in the Hunter Valley
Ok but not great!! Better ways to experience wine tasting!

5.00What a great way to experience the wineries and local produce in Pokolbin. From meeting Keeley our guide and the 2 horses Holly and Bonny,we plodded along at a gentle pace taking us to the 2 wineries and cheese and chocolate tasting venues. Relaxing and fun. Make sure you consider this opportunity to experience Pokolbin area in a different way.

5.00Jackie was excellent with the horses and taking us to wineries and chocolate and cheese tasting. A relaxing and unique way to see the Hunter and wineries. Jackie’s pleasant and friendly manner made the outing very enjoyable. Jackie was most efficient and well organised. Morning visit was the best as it wasn’t too hot.
