Really well organized tour covering a lot, highlights being the elephant sanctuary and visiting the native people of Doi Inthanon. Tour guide Mod was outstanding, someone who really enjoy his job.

This was exceptional! I was a bit unsure about how to pack for this, here was our experience. We got picked up and headed towards the elephants first. We stopped at restrooms/ convenience store. I didn't realize this is a thing, bring your own toilet paper! Then to the elephants, we learned a bit, met them, and fed them. Then went to the river to bathe them. This could just be time of year and weather dependent but we really didn't get wet. I wore a swim suit because I was unsure, would have been fine in my hiking wear and flip flops. Then we got to change, use the bathroom and they served us lunch. Great lunch, beautiful scenery. Back into the van to head to Doi Inthanon. This was a bit cooler as they said, but it was short 10-15 mins. I did throw on a jacket and have shorts and was fine, depending on the time of the year you go of coarse. Then we went to visit the Pagodas. My understanding was all visitors had to cover up. They did not make men cover knees or shoulders, only women. I throw pants on over my shorts but they did have something you could tie around your waist to borrow. Then we went for our hike. We had our tour guide and 3 local guides on the trail. They gave us each a water. I was 6 months pregnant and able to do it so not too strenuous, lots of breaks for pictures. Very beautiful, was hot and humid so shorts and a tank top was good for me. Then we ended with coffee/tea tasting which was great. Loved this tour! What I would wear/pack (this was mid February) -wear for elephants: hiking outfit shorts & t-shirt or tank top. They will give you blue shirt to wear there with elephants. -bring: flip flops, bug spray, sun screen, toilet paper -have tennis shoes to change into for rest of day -could bring jacket, time we went it wasn't too bad and it's so short it wasn't really necessary

This tour was so worth it. The Sanctuary treats their Elephants with love and care, the lunch was amazing and was vegetarian. They also separate the peanuts for those with that allergy. No fish as well. The hike was gorgeous with the Waterfall. The guides will take pictures for you. It's all very local and you can tell they love what they do. Make sure to bring cash for the coffee plantation shop if you would love to purchase tea or coffee! Only 200 baht a bag. Our guides were mod and Nana, and they were truly great the whole trip. The Elephants were definitely the highlight

It was 3-in-1 experience: elephants, Doi Ithanon and 2-hr jungle trekking. Initially i was worried that it's too much for one day. But our tour guide Sandy, pace of activities and time in each location were great. Now i can't imagine doing only one activity. Sandy was attentive, taking photos and joking around. A word of caution on trekking portion: it can be challenging for older and elderly travelers (uphill/downhill, uneven surfaces). Overall, im glad i booked this tour. Thanks, Sandy!
