This trip will be your East Java’s volcanoes experience via Malang city – Tumpaksewu Waterfall, Mount Bromo and Ijen crater for 3 day 2 night. Guests will visit the biggest and most grand waterfall in east java region and cover a lot of volcanoes and adventure trail on each spots. This is best-selling trip for guests who wants to see East Java in un-ordinary travel route.

Overnight at accomodation in Cemorolawang village (1room 2 persons with private bathroom)
Guest(s) will be picked up in their hotel in Malang city by 7.00 a.m and head to Tumpaksewu waterfall for about 2 hours. Meet up with local trekking ranger and explore Tumpaksewu waterfall via bamboo stairs down the river stream. By noon back to parking area and continue journey toward Cemorolawang village via reverse route Malang for total 5 hours. Check in accomodation and total rest.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park
Guests will be picked up by private 4WD Jeep by 3.00 a.m and head to Penanjakan sunrise point and enjoy sunrise time. After sunrise, back to jeep and driver will drive down to Bromo crater area and guest can do trekking up to Mount Bromo. Back to hotel for late breakfast and prepare check out. Journey further to Bondowoso city for about 5-6hours. Check in accomodation and total rest. Midnight do check-out before departing to Ijen Crater.
Ijen Crater "Blue Fire" Trekking - Ketapang Harbor
Ijen Crater Indonesia
Depart from hotel by 00.00 a.m and journey to Ijen crater for about 1.5hours. Meet up with local trekking ranger and trek up to Ijen summit for about 4kilometers (2hours). If weather allowed, guests can descend to blue fire source with accompany of local trekking ranger (all risks is on guests own responsibility). Before sunrise, back to summit and enjoy sunrise moment from Ijen summit. Back to parking area and enjoy breakfast box. Driver will deliver guests to Ketapang harbor and buy guests ferry ticket. If guests request to be dropped in hotel in Banyuwangi, then ferry ticket is non-refundable because it is complimentary from our policy.

Well Organized Tour with an Amazing Driver, but Very Crowded

4.00Overall, the 3-day Bromo, Ijen and waterfall tour was very well organized and everything worked smoothly. A special thank you to our driver, Dian, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and made the long drives very comfortable. We always felt safe and well taken care of. However, we were surprised by the huge number of tourists everywhere. We did the trip in early June and hardly had a moment to ourselves. The waterfall was beautiful, but extremely crowded, with people moving up and down the stairs in large groups. Bromo was definitely worth the experience and the sunrise was stunning, but there were long waiting times and traffic jams, sometimes up to one or two hours. To get a good spot for sunrise, you also have to wait for quite a while in the middle of the night. Ijen was the most crowded part for us. The hike is quite demanding, and doing it in a large crowd took away some of the experience. At the moment, the famous blue fire can only be seen in very small areas, and due to bad weather we were unfortunately unable to fully enjoy the blue lake. If you dislike mass tourism, we would probably not recommend this tour and personally would not do it a second time. Still, Bromo itself was an unforgettable experience, and having Dian as our driver made the trip much more enjoyable. 😊🙏

Although it was the first time we booked a group tour like this and that we were a bit skeptical about the experience of a big group tour, it was lovely to share such a moment with like minded people. All the guides were incredible, the organization was flawless. Thank you so much for having us on the tour!

5.00What an amazing tour! Great communication from Mador every step of the way. Super well organized and so amazing getting to see all 3 beautiful landscapes. There were very early wake ups, but worth it for the sunrise. Shoutout to our van driver, Bondan, who was super sweet and funny. Also super nice how it included transfer all the way back to our stay in Bali. Would recommend Mador to anyone!

5.00I had a fantastic experience on this 3D2N tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Indonesia. Everything was well organized, from the activities and transportation to the overall coordination of the trip. The team was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Special thanks to the drivers, who were highly skilled and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. We were also lucky with the weather and got to enjoy all the highlights of Tumpaksewu, Bromo, and Ijen. The scenery was absolutely stunning and made every early morning start worthwhile. 5.00This Mador hostel tour was a 10/10. The guides and drivers were all so lovely - very friendly, attentive and helpful. It was a super early wake up everyday and they all still had smiles on their faces the whole time. Special shoutout to my driver Irham - so helpful, always on time (as was everyone on the tour), and super friendly! Irham was much appreciated by all of us :)

5.00I took the 3-day/2-night tour including Tumpak Sewu waterfall, Mount Bromo, and Ijen. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The meals were very good, the accommodations comfortable and of high quality. Our driver Bobi was fantastic!! We were also accompanied by very friendly and professional guides, who allowed us to be among the first at each site and to avoid the crowds. I recommend it without hesitation!

5.00Spectacular. Communication on WhatsApp super fast and take away all doubts. Very organized. Comfortable complete transportation service, delicious food and even includes snakcs, super attentive guides, wonderful hotels. All very safe and carefully in preparation. I recommend.

5.00The 3 Day East Java Tour with Mador Hostel was so so amazing we loved everything! Especially our driver (his name was Randa) was so kind and drove us safely to all the places (don‘t forget to tip your driver because the distances from Place to Place are long and tiring to them). The Food was great and there were always vegetarian options. We had really nice accomodations for both nights, we even had a pool on the second day. They dropped us of in Bali without charging us what was great too. We also had amazing Guides that were so helpful and funny. You can‘t miss out on this tour when you‘re in indonesia, it was definitely the Highlight of our Trip. Thank you Mador Hostel!
