  Can’t recommend this tour enough, from start to finish was a seamless experience and Rajesh (our guide/driver) was brilliant. Will definitely be recommending this tour to our friends and family!

  We started off by driving to the Munnar area - it proved to be 4 days with lots and lots of driving. Thankfully our driver Sanoop was very nice and accommodating to our needs. The Munnar area is very nice, lush and green. However, we found most of the activities we did to be underwhelming. There was a lot of driving around, and we went to see some dams and a waterfall. Being from Norway, these were not really impressive - someone else might have a good time at these spots, though. We did like the spice garden with an intro to Ayurvedic medicine, and the chocolate factory. The highlight for us was probably the theatre cultural dance and martial arts performances, which was great. Everything else felt a little forced. (PS: please keep away from elephant rides!). The hotel we stayed in was quite a drive away from Munnar. However, the hotel is modern, nice and clean, with big rooms. The food was also very good, and the staff was nice although lacking in english skills. After Munnar we drove to Kumarakom for the house boat trip. This was very beautiful and relaxing, the staff was nice and the food was excellent (although again lacking in english skills). The only downside is all the trash in the water, an even though we’re getting used to it by now, it does put a damper on any situation. (None of that is of course the fault of the tour operator). Our driver Sanoop was very friendly and accommodating. He takes pride in his job and does it very well. The car was always clean and smelled good every morning. his driving was safe and smooth - we would recommend a trip with him behind the wheel. Some criticisms is directed at Iris Holidays for lack of information - we would really have benefited from a list or similar of possible activities to do, especially in Munnar. The itinerary shown on Tripadvisor should have been more informative. To summarise: - Munnar is a beautiful area, many activities are underwhelming. - The hotel is nice but far away - There is a lot of driving (with a great chauffeur) - The house boat trip was great - Would like some more info from the company.   Great communication, great value for money. Brilliant service from our driver, Rajesh, definitely added to the experience with humour, flexibility and a willingness to respond to all requests. Felt very safe and looked after throughout. Will definitely be recommending to friends who are visiting later in year.

  From start to finish Monday to Thursday we were looked after so well by our driver Rajesh, nothing was too much trouble .. we felt very safe in the car on some very long trips, challenging roads and lots of hair pin bends. He was always happy to stop for comfort breaks and coffees.. and his English is very good. Our overnight boat trip.. with the add on indian spa excellent and the food and accommodation on the boat was excellent.   Great 4 days sightseeing in Kerala. Good communication and well organised. Good value for money. Particular thanks to our driver Rajesh who made the experience even more enjoyable, going above and beyond, happy to be flexible to suit our needs and ensured we felt safe and happy throughout. Genuine pleasure spending the 4 days with him as our tour guide. Other highlight was houseboat, an experience we will not forget.

  Had an unforgettable and action packed experience immersed in the rich culture of Kerala. Monesh was a wonderful tour guide who took great care of me and my needs and took me to great restaurants and shops that only locals would know. The boat operators were top notch. The tour is perfect for couples - the backwater boat tour is quiet and peaceful, don't expect much activity for that portion of the trip but if that is what youre looking for then it is ideal. In Munnar especially, do not miss both the Kalaripayattu and Kathakali shows!

  We had tailored 5D/4N excursion planned by Kannan from Iris Holidays. Everything was well planned, organized and catered to. Our stay at The Leaf in Munnar was amazing. So serene and relaxing. Our stay at Greenwoods in Thekkady was also very tranquil. Between the resorts, our driver Akhil ensured safe driving and knowledge of places we wanted to go (including stops for lunch with Thali dishes). Our overnight on the houseboat was probably the highlight of the entire trip. It was the most peaceful and beautiful hours we spent in all of Kerala. Our boat driver was very skilled and our chef treated us to some amazing dishes. I cannot recommend Iris holidays enough for your Kerala tours. Definitely would recommend Kannan and Akhil again and again. Side note: definitely pay for the premium houseboat to have enclosed living/dining room area for A/C and avoid bugs. Try to see the Kathakali show when you're in Thekkady. Do the Jeep ride in Munnar. Visit the tea museum and try the tea tasting. Ask the driver where is best to buy Kerala clothing.   Honeymoon Tour My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful honeymoon tour with Iris Holidays! We visited the breathtaking destinations of Munnar, Kovalam, and Kumarakom, and it was a dream come true. Highlights - *Scenic Beauty*: Munnar's tea plantations, Kovalam's stunning beaches, and Kumarakom's backwaters were simply mesmerizing. - *Friendly Driver*: Our guide sanoop was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made our journey so comfortable and enjoyable. - *Romantic Ambiance*: The tour was perfectly tailored for a honeymoon – felt like a private romantic getaway. - *Accommodations*: The places we stayed at were lovely and had great views. Experience Each destination had its unique charm. Munnar's rolling hills, Kovalam's views, and Kumarakam houseboat experience were highlights.   Mainly did the trip being attracted by the private houseboat experience. Our sight seeing tour leading up to the houseboat stay was fulfilling and enjoyable. You will see some of the most beautiful sights you will find anywhere. Our driver Monesh was professional, energetic, and motivating. We opted for the private tour which applied to both the car and boat. The boat has electric with a ceiling fan in the covered outdoor dining-gallery area and a split ac unit in the bedroom cooling at 21C or below 70F. The crew was considerate respecting privacy and personal space. The surrounding village locals were friendly and inviting even welcoming us to take a walk through the village on our own time. Pleasantly exceeding expectations.
