What To Expect

Kaibab National Forest

You will depart Tusayan, Arizona located in the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on the safest and most comfortable-tourism based helicopter in the world. On your 45-minute helicopter flight, enjoy the luxurious comfort and wraparound windows which offer breathtaking views of the Canyon. Enjoy the fantastic views of the Canyon as you fly over the 1.6 million-acre (6,500 km²) Kaibab National Forest, which borders both the north and south rims of the Grand Canyon. The Kaibab National Forest is home to the world’s largest ponderosa pines.

The helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon was an absolutely breathtaking experience that I can highly recommend to everyone! The view was simply spectacular: the incredible expanse, the massive rock formations and the colors of the rock – everything seemed even more intense and impressive than from the ground. The pilot was extremely professional, friendly and gave interesting information about the history, geology and special points in the canyon during the flight without it becoming too much. The organization was top: Punctuality, safety briefing and service – everything worked smoothly. The feeling during the flight was also surprisingly pleasant – calm, safe and comfortable. Conclusion: If you really want to experience the Grand Canyon in all its size and beauty, you should definitely not miss this flight.
