Wake up at the early morning and have a breakfast. We will drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall in 2 hours. Meet the local guide and goes together to one of the most visited Waterfall in Indonesia. Around 2-3 hours after enjoying the Waterfall, we will go to the next Hotel in Bromo Area. Once reach the Hotel you will have some time to spare at your convenience by strolling around the hotel, the nearby farming area, witnessing the daily activities of the Tenggerese people, or just relaxing at the hotel.

Get ready to be picked up at 3.00 am by a 4 WD-vehicle to experience the bumpy road to reach Mt. Penanjakan 1 which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mount in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit history. If you are lucky, you will be able to witness the Yadnya Kasada ceremony, a Tenggerese festival held every 14th of the Kasada month, to honor Sang Hyang Widhi the Almighty God, Roro Anteng the daughter of King Majapahit and Joko Seger the son of Brahmana. After breakfast, you will head to Mount Ijen Area in Banyuwangi/Bondowoso. Here, you will stay for a night in a hotel.

Get ready at early morning because you will be picked up at 11.30 P.M from your hotel. We will start the trip by driving you to Paltuding. Afterwards we will begin an hour trek to Ijen Crater. Here, you can get the chance to witness the dazzling blue lava-like rivers of light known as the Blue Fire phenomenon. Next, we will explore the crater area seeing panoramic view of Mount Ijen turquoise. At 8 A.M, we will return Surabaya / Malang or Ketapang port.

5.00One of our honeymoon adventures was a 4-day trip in Indonesia. We chose Cheap Bromo, and our guide Hirman contacted us right away. He was waiting for us at the airport, and we set off in a large, comfortable car for our adventure. Whenever we needed to stop for food, coffee, or a restroom break, the driver always pulled over. The entire four days were full of amazing experiences, but I’d especially like to highlight our guide Hirman and our driver Ijat — they truly made the trip special and took perfect care of us. As for the excursions, Rainbow Village was beautiful, but compared to the waterfalls, Bromo, and Ijen, it was more of a warm-up. Personally, I enjoyed Ijen the most and would happily do it again with the same guide. Thank you, Hirman, for four wonderful days!

Now we have most beautiful memories we can have, which will be in out hearts forever, mainly because East Java was part of our honeymoon. 5.00Our tour to Mount Bromo, Mount Ijen, and the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall was an incredible experience from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized — from pick-up, transportation, and accommodations to the hikes and visits along the way. Our guide Rizky was excellent, always helpful, knowledgeable, and made the trip both fun and informative. A big thank-you also to our great driver, Qirun, who took us safely and comfortably through long drives and winding roads. He did a fantastic job making sure we were always on time and could enjoy every part of the journey without stress. Each destination had something truly special: the sunrise at Mount Bromo was magical, the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall was powerful and beautiful, and the hike up Mount Ijen with its blue flames and crater lake was unforgettable. Altogether, this tour offered breathtaking nature, great company, and amazing memories.

5.00I recently did a 3-day private solo trip through Mount Bromo, Ijen Crater, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, Madakaripura Waterfall, and Djawatan Forest, and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life! My main guide, Rico, was exceptionally professional, intelligent, and kind. He speaks perfect English and has deep knowledge of Indonesia’s nature, history, and culture. Everything was perfectly planned and flexible — we moved at my comfortable pace, stopped whenever I needed, and he always made sure I was feeling well after a long flight. Our driver, Sigit, was a real professional — calm, attentive, and safety-focused. I felt completely safe the entire journey. The car was super comfortable, spotless, and had separate air conditioning for the back seats, which made every hour on the road enjoyable. At Ijen, my local guide Yayan was also fantastic — licensed, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about his work. Rico went above and beyond to make my trip unforgettable. He even helped me capture tons of amazing photos and videos, and genuinely cared about ensuring everything was perfect. The hotels included in the package were great, and the value for money was outstanding — the level of quality and service easily exceeded my expectations. Everything was organized flawlessly from start to finish. I would rate this trip 6 out of 5 stars — absolutely unforgettable and highly recommended to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and truly special East Java adventure!

5.00We got Ubay as the guide and Faizal as the driver; both of them took care of us very well. Ubay has a great sense of humour and is very clear in explaining the next day's plans. He is also an expert in taking photos and explaining the history/ geography of Bromo & Ijen. He would also introduce us to delicious local food at the lunch and dinner places. I had a great time; this tour is highly recommended!

5.00We just finished our 3-day trip with Cheap Bromo, and honestly – it couldn’t have been any better! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Hirman made the whole trip really special – always in a great mood, super funny, and he made sure we felt comfortable the whole time. He explained a lot about the places we visited, took the best photos, and you could always have a great chat with him. You can really tell he loves what he does and genuinely cares about his guests. Ijat was an amazing driver – calm, focused, and very skilled. Even with the busy traffic and winding mountain roads, we always felt relaxed and in good hands. His background music was perfect, and his friendly smile made every day start and end nicely. We also met some local guides along the way who were all super friendly and passionate about their places – that made the experience even more special. From the beautiful waterfall on day one, to the breathtaking Bromo sunrise, and the magical Ijen volcano on day three – every part of this trip was unforgettable. Huge thanks to Hirman and Ijat for these amazing three days – we had the best time and will recommend this tour to everyone coming to Indonesia!

5.00I had an amazing trip exploring Bromo, Tumpak Sewu, and Kawah Ijen! Everything was well-organized, fun, and stress-free. Our guide Oni was super friendly, helpful, and really made the journey special. He took us to the best viewpoints, helped with photos, and shared lots of cool local tips. The views were stunning, the hikes were totally worth it, and the whole trip felt like traveling with a friend. Highly recommended if you want a memorable adventure in East Java!

5.00This was our second tour, and as always, it was fantastic. Riza, our guide, and Anang, our driver, were responsible for four perfect days. If you have Riza as your guide, you don't have to worry. He's one of the nicest people I know. The tour to Ijen was perfectly organized, Madikapura Waterfall was amazing, and if anything goes wrong, Riza is always there to help. The tours with Cheap Bromo are perfectly organized, and everyone does a fantastic job at this company. Thank you all for another great vacation!!
