Wake up at the early morning and have a breakfast. We will drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall in 2 hours. Meet the local guide and goes together to one of the most visited Waterfall in Indonesia. Around 2-3 hours after enjoying the Waterfall, we will go to the next Hotel in Bromo Area. Once reach the Hotel you will have some time to spare at your convenience by strolling around the hotel, the nearby farming area, witnessing the daily activities of the Tenggerese people, or just relaxing at the hotel.

Get ready to be picked up at 3.00 am by a 4 WD-vehicle to experience the bumpy road to reach Mt. Penanjakan 1 which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mount in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit history. If you are lucky, you will be able to witness the Yadnya Kasada ceremony, a Tenggerese festival held every 14th of the Kasada month, to honor Sang Hyang Widhi the Almighty God, Roro Anteng the daughter of King Majapahit and Joko Seger the son of Brahmana. After breakfast, you will head to Mount Ijen Area in Banyuwangi/Bondowoso. Here, you will stay for a night in a hotel.

Get ready at early morning because you will be picked up at 11.30 P.M from your hotel. We will start the trip by driving you to Paltuding. Afterwards we will begin an hour trek to Ijen Crater. Here, you can get the chance to witness the dazzling blue lava-like rivers of light known as the Blue Fire phenomenon. Next, we will explore the crater area seeing panoramic view of Mount Ijen turquoise. At 8 A.M, we will return Surabaya / Malang or Ketapang port.

5.00We had one of the most awesome experiences ever our tour guide Ubay was excellent. The tour was quite a challenge for my age but came through without scratches. First time in Indonesia was memorable the people was so warm and friendly, the food was great and the scenery was also breathtakingly beautiful.

5.00We were a family of 5 (3 adult children with elderly parents) and did the 4 day 3 night tour in April and had the most magical and unforgettable experience. Even my parents who are in their 60s were able to complete the hikes with the help of our guides and also the 'Lamborghinis' on the Mount Ijen trek. Ubay our guide was faultless and went above and beyond for us every day. He helped my elderly mother throughout the hikes and genuinely cared for all of our needs. Not only was he highly knowledgeable but he truly cared for all of us, took loads of great photos and felt like a 6th member of the family. He was flexible with our plans and helped us enjoy each moment. We are really appreciative of what he did for us. The vehicle was massive and made the long rides much easier, driven by our driver (Judin) who was kind and happy throughout. All the accommodation was comfortable and met our needs. We highly recommend visiting East Java with CheapBromo!

5.00I couldn't go to Bromo due to a religious holiday, so I only traveled to Sewu Falls and Mt.Ijen. The weather was great and the scenery was absolutely fantastic. Wanna travel Bromo next time.

Our guide Rizky was fantastic – very friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the tour. The nature and places we visited were absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable. 5.00Me and my wife did the 4D3N tour. Already the planning (quite long in advance) was perfect and they helped us uncomplicated with some organizational questions. When we arrived we were surprised that our guide Melati welcomed us pretty good in our mother language (German). During the whole tour she let us feel very safe and like family, so friendly, helpful and hospitably. And also she could answer all the questions we had. Also our driver let us feel very comfortable and safe, also all location specific guides. All the spots of our tour were breathtaking, we enjoyed everything. We even were very lucky with the weather so that we could see everything. The tour was part of our silver honeymoon holidays. Cheap Bromo was aware of this and we got several surprises, was so great :-) So all in all we can really recommend Cheap Bromo and the 4D3N tour. And you can be happy if Melati is your guide ;-)

5.00This was truly one of the most beautiful experiences. Java is incredibly beautiful and this tour showed us some of the most amazing places we have ever seen. Everything was perfectly organized, all the hotels were lovely and comfortable, and the whole trip felt very easy and enjoyable. Our driver was very friendly and drove safely the entire time. Special thank you to our guide Melati – she was the best guide we could wish for, so kind, helpful and full of positive energy!!! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting East Java. 🤍

5.00Amazing experience at Mt Bromo and Sewu waterfall. Our tour guide Rizky was very professional and one of the best, making sure all arrangements were in order. Also enjoyed the conversations with him, understanding the local culture and customs. Rizky is also a skilled photographer helping us take stunning photos along the way and leading us to scenic spots. When we requested to try local durians, he managed to locate some fruit vendors in short notice. Despite Mt Ijen being closed, Rizky made quick arrangements for alternative attractions.
