Greenway Estate was outstanding as an option. Guest house lodging was very good. My least favorite part was Glastonbury.

This was a truly magical tour, covering so much ground and so many spectacular sites. It’s a long distance from London to Devon, then on to Cornwall, but the tour is cleverly broken up into reasonably-sized segments with scenic and historic stops that also serve as rest stops. Every stop -- Winchester, Stonehenge, Exeter, Dartmoor, and the many scenic stops along the Cornish coastline -- had something valuable and fun to see or do, plenty of options for refreshments, and toilet facilities. Carl, our tour guide, was outstanding. His commentary en route was clear, extensive, and informative, and he often pointed to a map of the region posted above the windshield so he could show us the general area we’d be covering that day. Having a small group was terrific. We had really good rapport with each other and with Carl. Even if you’re not into Doc Martin or Poldark on BBC/PBS, you’ll be delighted with everything to see on this trip. But if you are, well – icing on the cake!

Our guide Jack from the Viator/ Rabbies tour was fabulous. He was both witty and informative about all the sites we were seeing and brought everything to life. The only suggestion I would have is better instructions how to find the first meeting place.
