Maui Snorkel Charters has been perfecting the Maui Snorkeling experience since 2010. If there is any question you'd like to ask, don't hesitate to call us at 808-270-8776. The No Ka Oi is a one of a kind hybrid boat that combines performance with safety and comfort. Having a smaller group of guests on board allows to be attentive and available to help our guests wether it's in the water or on the boat. The crew are all ocean loving people with a passion for the sea life and showing our guests how amazing the underwater world is! Maui Snorkel Charters is a family owned business which extends to our guests. We hope to give each and every guests the best day ever!

Molokini Crater
Snorkel the amazing blue waters around Molokini Crater, it's like swimming in an aquarium!
Pu’u Ola’i, also known as Red Hill, is a dome-like cinder cone backing Maui’s well known Little Beach. This is our half-way point and a great spot for a small break after exploring Molokini. Blue Lagoon is a protected cove great for hanging out and drifting before more adventures. Next, we’ll Seafari™ at a Pu’u Ola’i Cove, a shallow area where you’ll see shells galore amidst the crystal clear water. As we swim around Pu’u Ola’i Point, we’re often greeted by a gang of chub fish that call this area home. Then we make our way to The Cove and then to Coral Forest. These spots are filled with a variety coral and fish we don’t see anywhere else! Keep your eyes peeled for turtles, eagle rays and a variety of colorful fish.

5.00Incredible snorkeling experience. 10/10, will go out with them again in future. This is different than your typical large party snorkeling excursion grouped in like sardines and given 30 minutes to snorkel. On this trip we were the first out to the crater. We snorkeled five different locations including the wall and backside of molokini larger boats can’t get to. Captain and mate were great. We were in the water with large schools of fish. We were lucky to hear vocalizations from humpback whales and had bottle nose dolphin sightings and saw a lot of sea turtles.

5.00This was a great experience overall. We had about 15 people on our excursion and the crew did a great job making sure everyone had what they needed. The weather was iffy. The water was cold with no sun, but visability was still amazing at the crater. I am glad we did it.

5.00We had a fabulous turtle tour with captain Jen and Eleni. We were b even fortunate enough to see a cow and calf humpback whale, Mom whale breached and then calf tried with much less height. Eleni got some fabulous photos and videos that she shared with us. Snorkeling with the turtles was extraordinary. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Just make sure to bring your beach towel to dry off.

5.00My husband and I had a great time on this excursion. Captain Jen and Elani were bright and friendly and informative. Capt. Jen's jokes were corny but fun. We particularly enjoyed snorkeling on the outer side of Molokini and "Turtle Town". Elani was in the the water with us the whole time and taking pictures. The pictures were up within about 24 hours and are great mementos of the trip. The fact that they take the pictures was one of the factors in deciding on the company. Plus the small group size (I think there were 16 of us) and speed of the boat. We also saw whales which Capt. Jen was happy to stop for us to watch. An unexpected sight was flying fish! Two slight drawbacks: 1) the website says there is a bathroom on board but when we arrived we were told there really isn't, and 2) it was sometimes hard for us to hear Capt. Jen because we were at the very front of the boat so some sort of amplification would be helpful. Overall, I would happily go out with them again and encourage others to do so.

5.00Awesome crew, great snorkeling at Molokini and two other spots- lots of turtles, fish - and whales along the way. Friendly and informative, fun, with great banana bread, snacks and coffee for the 5 hour tour! Best trip ever!

5.00Absolutely amazing! You all were so good with my daughter who can be very worried. Your crew were patient, compassionate and loving. That alone melted my heart but then add to it all the wonderful conversation, views, beautiful snorkeling and knowledge.... it was a once on a lifetime experience and we thank you!!

5.00Excellent tour! Captain Jen and Captain Doug were knowledgeable, safety oriented and still fun. Being able to snorkel 4 times at 4 different locations during the 5 hour trip allowed you to see a variety of coral, fish and sea turtles. Saw several whales and a bonus seal during the trip. Appreciated the coffee, snacks, banana bread and over 100 photos that were included in the price.

5.00We did the 5-hr, and IMO it was the best of the “tours” we took part in throughout our trip to Oahu and Maui. Captain Jen was great as was her first mate. The 5-hr is combined w a 2.5 hr Molokini only followed by a trip back to the boat ramp to swap with those on the follow-on Turtle Town portion. It provided an op for a bio break - use it. 😂 There is plenty of time but the facilities on the ramp were rough, not real clean. Snorkeling is lengthy and as scenic as you would imagine. But the real surprise for everyone onboard was the whale watching we were able to take part in while navigating out, back and in between sites. Pretty great. But the boat was new or seemed so, very comfortable, and we were provided the snorkeling gear, fins, and a flotation device, if desired. I think we had eight couples on the trip and never felt cramped or unattended to. Overall - 5 stars
