Stepantsminda History Museum

The museum building used to be memorial house of well-known Georgian writer Alexander Kazbegi (1848-1890). There are kept personal belongings and library of the writer, and ethnographic and craft collections of material culture, documents characteristic for Khevi (name of the mountainous region) and more widely – for Caucasian culture, for example household objects, accessories, crockery, kilims, saddle-bags (XIX c. and beginning of the XX c.), archaeological collection (numismatics, fragments of weapons and implements, adornments, decorations, earthenware, etc.), religious objects, works of local artists.

Gudauri panorama is decorated with Soviet-Style mosaics depicting Georgian and Russian heroes, farmers, fairy tales, and communist symbols. The monument is very vivid and colorful, however, most of its beauty is thanks to the location.

Samtavro Church

In the very center of the town like a bright spot n the background of old structure stands a huge palace built in the original Gothic style. This is Stalin Memorial Museum which was constructed in the 1950s. Stalin Museum is dedicated to all aspects of the well-known leader's life. It consists of three sections displaying rare exhibits: the originals of letters and notes, photos, military annals, maps, schemes of battles, Stalin's personal things - photos of his sons Jacob and Vasily, letters, the generalissimo's uniform, the death mask.

Uplistsiche Cave Town

Located in Eastern Georgia, Uplistsikhe (literally “Lord's Fortress“) is an abandoned rock-hewn town, which once played an important role in Georgian history. The place was founded in the Late Bronze Age, around 1000 BC, and continued to be inhabited until the 13th century AD.

House-museum of Chavchavadze

The complex in Tsinandali embraces the memorial house, a landscape garden, a historical winery, wine cellar, hotel and a café. The vineyards have been restored and wine production has resumed. Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino

The monastery of St. Nino is located in the village of Bodbe, in the Sighnaghi region, Kakheti.The territory of the monastery is decorated with flower beds and bushes, vineyards and a healing spring. The history of the monastery is closely connected with the adoption of Christianity.

Sighnaghi is also called the ‘City of Love’ and stands strong as an alternative and offbeat place to visit in the Caucasus. Sighnaghi wall with the length of about 5 kilometers and 23 towers was built in King Erekle II's times in 1770s. Sighnaghi Wall is still considered to be one of the most important historic monuments in Kakheti and throughout Georgia.
