• Unforgettable snorkelling day – highlights of our trip

  We booked a private Seven Islands, Eight Snorkelling Spots boat tour, and it turned out to be the best day of our entire Asia holiday — one of those experiences we’ll never forget. We were picked up directly from the beach outside our hotel, which made everything very easy, and it was a full day out. The snorkelling was absolutely fantastic. The amount and variety of coral and fish we saw was incredible, with each stop offering something slightly different. There was so much marine life and the coral was in great condition. What really impressed me was how well the snorkelling is managed, as it’s within a national park. Even though it was very busy due to the Christmas holiday period and there were lots of boats around, it never felt overcrowded in the water. The snorkelling areas are clearly designated, and boats tie onto existing ropes rather than dropping anchors, which clearly helps protect the coral — and it shows. Our guide was really lovely and looked after us well. Water was provided, and we stopped for lunch, which was simple but tasty — rice with vegetables and pineapple — just what we needed during the day. The views from the boat were stunning, with crystal-clear water, beautiful surrounding islands and rock formations, and plenty of stops for gorgeous photo opportunities. An unforgettable experience — we’d do this trip again in a heartbeat and couldn’t recommend it more.
