Stretching over about twenty kilometers south of the island of Rangiroa, this coral formation also called "FEO" in "Paumotu" (Tuamotu language) is as important as it is exceptional, because it serves as a barrier against the strong the swell of the austral winter thus delaying the erosion of our “motu” (islets).
This unique and impressive landscape transports us to the stars with its craters that one would believe to have been formed by the impact of meteorites, thus creating natural basins filled with crystal clear water.

5.00Joy and good humor thanks to his captain 'and his second who made us spend 1 unforgettable day. Meals on 1 very good private motu, the reef island is incredible beautiful, its lunar environment left us speechless. Put on water shoes or sneakers because the rocks are very sharp Mauruuru roa for this beautiful day

5.00After crossing the lagoon from north to south in a cheerful Mood, equipped with waxes provided by the crew to protect themselves from spray, the fascinating discovery of the island: the unreal colors, the ancient reef jagged, the delicious meal prepared by Paul and Noarii, (with our modest participation), decorated with coral wine from Rangiroa, free time alone in the world, no other boat, and the visit of the reef, the making by Noarii of pretty palm leaf hats. Then back to the aquarium, to finish with dolphin watching in the pass! In short, a day full of emotions. Thanks to Paul and Noarii for their kindness and availability.

2.00Reef was in poor condition, one hour snorkeling off a boat. Coral bleaching most likely the problem. Saw some nice fish but they kept 12 of us in 30 feet, too far from the reef. Would not recommend

5.00Very nice day in a beautiful setting with a super friendly team. Very good food and wine tasting from Rangiroa. Really to do!
