Discover a different side of Addis Ababa on this four-hour evening food experience in the Haya Hulet neighbourhood. Across 5–6 curated stops and 12+ tastings, you’ll sample a wide range of Ethiopian flavours. While menus vary depending on season and availability, highlights often include tender beef sautéed with berbere spices, colourful beyaynetu platters served over tangy injera, and kitfo, finely minced beef seasoned with warming mitmita, paired with fresh cottage cheese and sautéed greens. You may also try comforting duba quanta and tihilo, roasted barley dough dipped into rich lamb stew. Ethiopian meals often include a drink, and this tour introduces you to traditional beverages such as honey wine, tella (a home-style grain brew), and areke, a local spirit. And no Ethiopia meal would be complete with out a traditional buna ceremony which highlights one of the countries oldest coffee traditions.
