Choose between a daytime tour or a special nighttime tour of Alcatraz. The nighttime tour includes a narrated cruise at sunset, cell door demonstrations, and talks from expert historians. Both tours include an award-winning audio guide available in multiple languages to delve into the prison's dark history and infamous escape attempts.

Additionally, enjoy a narrated 1-hour cruise with views of landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, the Bay Bridge, and Pier 39 sea lions, all from the comfort of a boat with indoor and outdoor seating.

The time you select will be your Alcatraz ferry departure.

The ferry will leave on time at the specific time you booked from Pier 33.

You may take the Bay cruise on any day at any available departure time. These are 2 separate tours. Children 4 years and younger are free and do not need tickets.

For the Alcatraz Night tour, If you plan to take both tours on the same day, you must take the Bay Cruise before your Alcatraz tour.

Well organised trip , Alcatraz a must see ( lots of walking and exploring) after Alcatraz walked to pier 39 to book the time slot for my golden gate cruise .Again well organised and a must see.

Unique and entertaining with so much to see and learn about the the inmates living in this place long time ago.
Nighttime tour with Audio and Speaker Narrative was Authentic

The audio tour alongside the nighttime visit brought authenticity to the experience. My daughter enjoyed the narrative at the end of the tour by the speaker.
Just do it by yourself. No need to do a “tour”

Very, very over priced for what we got. Made our way to Fisherman’s Wharf, not relishing that the boat leaves Pier 33 - at least a 15 minute walk away. Got there with hundreds of others. Lined up and got on boat that takes you to the island. On your own to look around. Transfer back to pier 33. There is absolutely no guidance on when and where you take the bay cruise. We couldn’t work it out, so missed the last event of this very unguided tour. I basically paid $400 for a $150 tour of Alcatraz.
