Choose between a daytime tour or a special nighttime tour of Alcatraz. The nighttime tour includes a narrated cruise at sunset, cell door demonstrations, and talks from expert historians. Both tours include an award-winning audio guide available in multiple languages to delve into the prison's dark history and infamous escape attempts.

Additionally, enjoy a narrated 1-hour cruise with views of landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, the Bay Bridge, and Pier 39 sea lions, all from the comfort of a boat with indoor and outdoor seating.

The time you select will be your Alcatraz ferry departure.

The ferry will leave on time at the specific time you booked from Pier 33.

You may take the Bay cruise on any day at any available departure time. These are 2 separate tours. Children 4 years and younger are free and do not need tickets.

For the Alcatraz Night tour, If you plan to take both tours on the same day, you must take the Bay Cruise before your Alcatraz tour.

Please disregard rating. I was confused about the meet up directions and the Alcatraz operator scanned me in for the ferry trip at 2:45. I did not receive a call from the tour guide while on alcatraz so we never went to Muir Woods or Sausalito. Alcatraz was well worth the time. I have done many Viator tours and enjoy them. This one was a bit confusing with directions to where to meet up and I received warnings when I tried to open text and email from fake Viator accounts so I went by memory. It was odd to receive those text/emails.

Horrendous waste of money. I was denied entry because Viator didn’t send my ticket code on time, despite me sharing my confirmation email. They operate seperate to the onsite office at the pier. Lost all my money. Had to buy another ticket direct from the pier.

Great tour. Nice ride to Alcatraz and introduction from park ranger. Did self guided tour and attended another park ranger lecture. Very interesting place. Recommend
