Day before tracking you will be welcomed by Heavens holiday resort kandy. (2 night half board accommodation included for the package).after you will be accommodate over night there and next morning 7.30 am you will be pickup for the tracking. Around 9.30 A.M, Start trekking up to the Knuckles summit on a trail through tea plantation, pygmy forest, cloud forests, and plateau with grassland. Endemic birds, mammals, fresh water creatures in crystal clear water streams. Enjoy the panoramic view at the Knuckles Summit with all around the jungle. Around 01. P.M Have picnic lunch and walk back to the place where vehicle parked. Back to Kandy in the evening around 5 to 6.00 P.M and over night stay at Heavens holiday resort kandy.

5.00A huge thank you to Shalika for these 2 days of trekking in the heart of the Knuckles and nature of Sri Lanka. A discovery of the endemic fauna, the rich flora of the country, beautiful and green landscapes and moments of life in the company of a great person that we are not about to forget!! Bonus: Shalika made our best couple photos aha. We recommend 100%: you can trust him and the whole team of delicious cooks.es 🤗🤗

5.00As a solo woman traveller, I would 100% recommend doing a hiking tour with Charlie. We spent 2 days in the Knuckles mountains together - the 1st day just two of us and the 2nd day we were joined by a lovely French couple. Charlie was great and I felt completely safe throughout - I was really nervous beforehand about the hike (especially as I had booked it very last minute and am not a particularly experienced hiker) but Charlie gave me lots of pep talks to keep me calm, had a wonderful sense of humour and the perfect balance between walking/resting and chatting/quiet time. The views were beautiful and we swam in waterfalls. Charlie is also a GREAT photographer - particularly ideal for solo travellers! We stayed in lovely mountain cabins and all food and transfers were organised. His English is really excellent (as is his French from what I hear), and he is really knowledgeable about plants and animals. You can’t get a better guide than Charlie! He will keep you safe, well fed and in good spirits!

5.00Really liked the tour! Charlie is a great guide and English and French speaker. Really good food during the hike as well, made by local people in the mountains. Had a great time.

5.00Probably the best day of our stay in Sri Lanka! Shalika knows the fauna and flora perfectly and takes us on a walk through rice fields, rivers with beautiful waterfalls. It’s just perfect! All with a delicious meal at home! Thank you 🙏

5.00We spent a day hiking in the Knuckles with Shalika as guide (he speaks very good French). The experience was incredible. The scenery is breathtaking, the explanations about the flora and fauna are excellent and the homestay lunch was excellent! I can only recommend.

5.00Memorable experience in the Knuckles Mountains. Coming with 2 friends, we were able to discover beautiful green landscapes and waterfalls. Charlie, Popodu and his team were able to make this moment stand out with a good atmosphere and clear explanations about the flora and fauna. Fluency in French and English which allowed everyone to be included. Superb trek, I recommend
