The Lingering Garden

Pick up service is arranged at your hotel in Suzhou downtown or Suzhou train station. Your day tour starts at the Lingering Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the city's finest classical gardens. It has been listed as one of the four most famous national classic gardens together with the humble administrator's garden, the Summer Palace and Mountain Summer Resort in Chengde are called China's four largest gardens. Landscape architectural space processing is very exquisite, using a variety of artistic techniques, built a unique space system, becoming one of the world civilization examples of architectural space art processing. Wander through the trails and portals of this delicately-planned garden that carefully combines traditional Chinese architecture with natural beauty.

Panmen Gate

Pay a visit to Panmen Gate, which is a historical landmark in Suzhou. Panmen Gate is China's existing only water and land parallel gate, is one of the signs of the ancient city of Suzhou. It is now part of the Panmen Gate Scenic Area. It is known for the "three landmarks of Pan Gate". They are the Ruiguang Pagoda, the Wu Gate Bridge, the entrance to the gate at that time over the water passage and the highest bridge in Suzhou at the time, and Panmen Gate. The Ruigang Pagoda is constructed of brick with wooden platforms and has simple Buddhist carvings at its base.

Bonnie arranged a private full day trip to Suzhou from Shanghai. Explored the ancient garden, silk factory, pan gate and 2 of Suzhou famous street. The best highlight was the boat ride on Grand Canal in the evening, lighting around the city, shops, restaurants on the side of the canal. We stopped and walked around the area, nightlife, live music in many restaurants. This was so much fun and we wish we could stay longer. Our tour guide was very funny and knowledgeable.. she always said ‘ Are you happy? Are you beautiful? Are you handsome? ‘ whenever we took group pictures . She also took us to a special Suzchou noodle for dinner before heading back to train station. The meals were excellent. Bonnie, thank you so much for arranging this private tour for our group. It was the best trip ever and we love every minute of it. I highly recommend this Suzhou trip with Your Way Holiday to everyone. You will love it . Honestly, if we knew it was so much fun in the evening, we would stay one more day to enjoy the nightlife there.
