Cinema Arman was buit in Soviet time in 1968 year. Arman Cinema is a big two storey cinema with a dance floor and a multiple bar. Well equipped with a Dolby Digital sound system, Arman is a high-class venue for cinema in Almaty.

Park Named After Panfilov’s 28 Guardsmen

Park initially was called "Pushkin Garden", then Fallen Freedom Fighters (during revolution) "Federation of Soviet Rebublic Park" Since 1942 Panfilov’s 28 Guardsmen in memory of the heroism of the heroes-Panfilov division of sodiers of the Great Patriotic War, formed in the city of Alma-Ata. The main attractions of the park is the Memorial of Glory and Eternal flame of Panfiovs heroes and participants of Word War II.Monuments to the Heroes of the Soviet Union -I.V.Panfilov and Baurzhan Momyshuly- were installed at the Alley of Memory.
