Amazing full day out in Munnar. We had a lovely english speaking tour guide with us, Ganish. We started with a quick stop by the old Christian church in the village then up into the mountains of the tea plantations. Occasionally stopping by several stops with Ganish explaining what the locals do etc. One stop to get a stunning photo inside the tea plantations. After that he gave us a spontaneous tea break by the river which was very tranquil. Later on, we went to the waterfalls for a dip, this was okay. Followed by a quick stop at the Tiger cave. Lunch was basic but nice. After lunch was a surprise short bamboo boat ride down the river. Another waterfall view, walking down a farm and more interesting knowledge from Ganish, we finally finished the day seeing a group of spectacular elephants in the wild. We were lucky to see 8 elephants enjoying themselves in the river a few metres away from us. Including a gorgeous baby elephant! Overall, over than the short down burst of rain, the day was well worth the experience. Would highly recommend this tour group and guide.

Great experience, nice view and good driver. Suresh is smart and helpfull guide who know listening our requests. We asked in the middle of the travel and make a treck 1 hour alone. Also we asked him to stop and visit an special place that was not in the tour, he was always positive and collaborating.

An excellent day trip which allows one to see the surrounding scenery. Transport via jeep was quite a good experience. Frequently stopped for photo opportunities etc. Devdas was clearly quite knowledgeable about different plants and tea picking, and was very accommodating. The lunch included was quite plentiful and very nice. We arrived at the elephant point at 4.30pm and stayed until 7.45pm. Unfortunately we didn’t see any elephants but Devdas was willing to wait for longer if we wanted to. Overall, would definitely recommend!

A great day with Ganesh who was friendly, professional and knowledgable. He shared some homemade tea and biscuits with us which was lovely and showed us around his village. We saw so much throughout the day and the jeep was safe and comfortable. We would have seen elephants but we decided to head back at 6pm after a long day - the elephants turned up around 7.30pm apparently. Lunch was huge, there was no way we needed anything else for the rest of the day!
